SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING LOCATION ALERTS RELATING TO EMERGENCIES
Disclosed is a system for generating alerts communicated to emergency responders and/or contacts indicating a location of an incident. The system comprises a housing, one or more light sources, and a computing processor. A switch is located in the housing and configured to be accessible to a user. When the switch is actuated by a user indicating an incident, the processor provides power to the at least one light source to output light from the housing thereby indicating the location of the system. The system may also control a speaker to output an audible signal and a transmitter to transmit an emergency signal with location information to a device of an emergency responder and/or an emergency contact. The present invention may also be embodied in a software application that is implemented on a mobile device to thereby leverage the components of the mobile device to send alerts.

There is provided an information processing device to reduce the difference in way of feeling a tactile sense in accordance with a state or situation, the information processing device including: an acquisition unit configured to acquire context information concerning a state or a situation user of an external environment or context information concerning a user; and a modulation unit configured to modulate a control signal for controlling a haptics unit for presenting haptics to a predetermined part of the user on the basis of the context information having been acquired.

There is provided an information processing device to reduce the difference in way of feeling a tactile sense in accordance with a state or situation, the information processing device including: an acquisition unit configured to acquire context information concerning a state or a situation user of an external environment or context information concerning a user; and a modulation unit configured to modulate a control signal for controlling a haptics unit for presenting haptics to a predetermined part of the user on the basis of the context information having been acquired.
BUZZER, BUZZER DEVICE AND SECURITY EQUIPMENT
A buzzer comprises a housing (1) and a buzzer plate (2) cooperating therewith to form a cavity (3). The cavity (3) has a sounding hole (4) in communication with the outside, and the cavity (3) is configured such that the ratio between its outer diameter (D1) and the height (H) of the buzzer is greater than 6.5 and/or the ratio between the diameter (D3) of the sounding hole (4) and the inner diameter (D2) of the cavity (3) is not greater than 0.5. A buzzer device comprising the buzzer, and a security apparatus comprising the buzzer or the buzzer device are also provided. The buzzer has advantages such as low manufacturing cost, compact structure and stable working performance. It can significantly improve the loudness of the buzzer and meet the requirements of sound pressure level for different frequency bands.
DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CROWD CONTROL
A device, system and method for crowd control is provided. An aural command is detected at a location using a microphone at the location. A computing device determines, based on video data received from one or more multimedia devices, whether one or more persons at the location are not following the aural command. The computing device modifies the aural command to generate a second version of the aural command based on one or more of the video data and multimedia data associated with the location. The computing device causes the second version of the aural command to be provided, to the one or more persons who are not following the aural command at the location, using one or more notification devices.
Firearm Regulation System and Related Methods
Implementations of firearm regulation systems may include a firearm safety system (FSS) configured to physically couple to a firearm. The FSS may include a locking mechanism configured to prevent the firearm from firing and a sensor configured to detect an environmental parameter. The firearm regulation system may also include a management system communicatively coupled to the FSS and a site safety system (SSS) communicatively coupled to the management system. The SSS may include one or more lockdown mechanisms.

Mobile Phone Location Tracking Device
A mobile phone location tracking device is presented. The device includes a housing having a wireless transceiver disposed therein, wherein the wireless transceiver is in operable communication with a mobile device. A GPS unit within the housing operably connects to a mobile GPS unit within the mobile device via the wireless transceiver to monitor a threshold separation distance between the mobile device and the housing. Upon detection that the housing has exceeded the threshold separation distance from the mobile device, a speaker within the housing emits an audible alert. In some embodiments, the mobile device emits an audible alert as well. A power source is disposed within the housing and is operably connected to each of the speaker, the wireless transceiver, and the GPS unit.
Mobile Phone Location Tracking Device
A mobile phone location tracking device is presented. The device includes a housing having a wireless transceiver disposed therein, wherein the wireless transceiver is in operable communication with a mobile device. A GPS unit within the housing operably connects to a mobile GPS unit within the mobile device via the wireless transceiver to monitor a threshold separation distance between the mobile device and the housing. Upon detection that the housing has exceeded the threshold separation distance from the mobile device, a speaker within the housing emits an audible alert. In some embodiments, the mobile device emits an audible alert as well. A power source is disposed within the housing and is operably connected to each of the speaker, the wireless transceiver, and the GPS unit.
Aircraft system and method
A method of communicating configuration data of a tire pressure monitoring device configured to be affixed to a wheel is disclosed. The method includes, at the tire pressure monitoring device, receiving a request to confirm configuration data, and responsive to receipt of the request to confirm configuration data, transmitting a configuration data signal which encodes the configuration data. The configuration data signal is configured to be received and understood by a human.
