ANIMAL ACOUSTIC AUGMENTATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Embodiments described herein provide an animal acoustic augmentor (AAA) for an animal acoustic augmentation system. The AAA includes an audio system configured to generate audio proximal and/or for delivery to an ear of an animal and a logic device configured to communicate with and control operation of the audio system. The logic device is configured to detect an AAA trigger associated with operation of the AAA and/or the audio system and generate an animal-audible trigger response via the audio system of the AAA based, at least in part, on the detected AAA trigger, where the animal-audible trigger response includes a preprogrammed AAA trigger response stored within a memory of the AAA and/or a live AAA trigger response based, at least in part, on a control sequence and/or an owner command provided by a personal electronic device associated with the AAA and/or an acoustic environment of the animal.
HAPTIC CONTENT PRESENTATION AND IMPLEMENTATION
A method includes displaying, on a touchscreen, a video comprising a video frame and determining, based on a saliency map of the video frame, a region of interest in the video frame. The method also includes detecting a touch on a region of the touchscreen while the video frame is displayed and generating a haptic response in response to determining that the region of the touchscreen overlaps with the region of interest.
Emergency alert systems with tracked user interactions
Aspects discussed herein relate to providing alerts to a community of devices located in or near a geographic are such as a building or property. The alerts override any alert-inhibiting state of the mobile device to deliver audio, visual, and/or haptic alerts in emergency situations. The communication and emergency alert system may be used to communicate with many different communities of people. Moreover, certain individuals may be members of more than one community at the same time, and the communities themselves may change over time based both on the user's preferences and on their physical locations. User interaction with their mobile devices and/or provided alerts can be monitored and tracked to determine engagement with the emergency alert system. Additional alerts can be provided on other devices associated with the user until the user is confirmed to have received the alert.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING EMERGENCY BELL BASED ON SOUND
According to an embodiment of the disclosure, a system for controlling an emergency bell based on sound comprises an emergency bell device installed in a crime area, gathering sound information generated in the crime area, detecting an emergency event from the gathered sound information, and generating an emergency bell operation signal, an analysis server receiving, in real-time, the sound information from the emergency bell device if the emergency bell operation signal is received, classifying per-time key sound sources in the sound information, and providing a situation analysis result on whether a crime occurs using the classified per-time key sound sources, and a control server receiving the situation analysis result and providing on-site dispatch information or situation response information to a security terminal in charge of the crime area based on the received situation analysis result.

VOICE GUIDANCE METHOD
A voice guidance method includes: a determination step of determining whether or not a visually impaired person is included in passengers in a vehicle as a public transport; and a guidance step of, in a case where the visually impaired person is determined to be included in the passengers, providing voice guidance to inform the visually impaired person of a state around the vehicle when the visually impaired person gets off the vehicle.

DETECTOR
A detector (10; 110) is provided for mounting to a container (2) defining an internal space (6) in order to determine occupancy of the container. The detector includes a housing (12; 112), a mounting arrangement for mounting the housing to a container, a sensor arrangement comprising a first sensor (30; 130) disposed within the housing, the first sensor configured to determine a concentration of carbon dioxide within an internal space (6) of a container (2); and a control system (40; 140) configured to receive input values from the first sensor and to provide an output when the concentration of carbon dioxide exceeds a predetermined value. The housing is substantially sealed for preventing the ingress of debris into the housing, and the housing is configured such that air is able to flow into the housing and over the first sensor.
EQUIPMENT VISUAL STATUS INDICATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD
A lift device having an implement, a prime mover configured to drive the implement, and a connectivity module communicably coupled with the lift device. The connectivity module is configured to determine a parameter set relating to the lift device, receive a request to provide a status of the component of the lift device, receive a measure associated with the attribute of the component of the lift device, compare the received measure and the threshold measure associated with the attribute of the component of the lift device, and provide, based on the comparison, an indication in accordance with the indication characteristic representing the status of the component of the lift device.
