Discreet Solution to Signal Stealing and Reducing Game Duration
A system for covert communication including a transmitter set at least one receiver set comprising an antenna, a battery and battery case, a signal receiving device, a signal conditioning device, a vibration disc and a housing wherein the antenna, the battery and battery case, the signal receiving device and signal conditioning device are contained within the housing.
Secure log capture
A vehicle includes a first controller; and a second controller, wherein the first controller is programmed to responsive to detecting a failure, generate a failure event, identify the second controller as related to the failure event, identify logs of the first controller and second controller as related to the failure event, collect logs of the first controller, and transmit a failure message including a request for the logs of the second controller to the second controller, and the second controller is programmed to responsive to receiving the failure message from the first controller, collect logs of the second controller as requested, and send a request for a security token to a server, and responsive to receiving the security token from the server, upload the logs of the second controller, as collected using the security token, to the server, and send the security token to the first controller.
Electric fence insulator with a light
An insulator for notifying an animal when an electric fence is provided. The insulator may include a clip for attaching the insulator to the fence. Metal contact points may draw power from the electric fence when the fence is active, or the insulator may be powered through induction. The insulator may also include a circuit board or controller that receives power from the fence and translates it into an output directed to a notification device. The notification device may comprise a light that produces a visual notification or a speaker that produces an audible notification.
Dynamic determination of a geographically dispersed group for alert resolution
Described herein are techniques for receiving an alert associated with an entity and dynamically determining, based on the alert and on substantially real-time attributes for the entity, a geographically dispersed group in which each member of the geographically dispersed group either is a device associated with the entity or shares at least one attribute with the entity. The techniques further include requesting information about the entity from the geographically dispersed group, receiving information from at least a subset of the group, and taking action responsive to the alert based on the received information.
Ground system for vehicle data distribution
Techniques for delivering data or information to a vehicle include a method of distributing information to a vehicle. Information corresponding to the vehicle is first received while the vehicle is en route between an origination point and a destination from a computing device that is not being transported by the vehicle. A first computing device or a second computing device determines a destination port at which the vehicle is to arrive, the destination port included in a plurality of ports at which vehicles arrive and from which vehicles depart. The first computing devices causes data to be routed to a third computing device communicatively connected to the first computing device, the third computing device corresponding to the destination port, and at least one of the data or the third party computing device determined based on the information received at the first computing device.
System and method for providing subscribers a secure electronic emergency response portal on a network
The present invention provides a system and method for providing subscribers an electronic emergency response portal on a network. In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for providing subscribers an electronic emergency response portal on a network having the following steps: receiving real property information from a subscriber module; storing the real property information in a database; creating a secure portal for the subscriber module over a network, the secure portal providing an interface to one or more emergency response parties, wherein the one or more emergency response parties are given access to the interface if a permission setting to the interface is granted by the subscriber module; and providing real property information to the subscriber module and the one or more emergency response parties based on the permission setting.
Receiver unit for an RF tag
A receiver unit for a radio frequency (RF) tag is provided, including a first input terminal and a second input terminal each being connected to an antenna; a communication stage configured to demodulate and/or to modulate an incoming signal in the communication stage; and a power stage including a voltage converter circuit being configured to supply power to the receiver unit, and a regulation circuit being configured to limit an output voltage of the voltage converter circuit, wherein the regulation circuit includes a regulator circuit being configured to determine a first current value and a second current value, the second current value being a current value provided in addition to the first current value, and, if the second current value exceeds a predetermined threshold value, to supply a control signal to a limiter circuit configured to limit an input voltage of the voltage converter circuit.
Method and apparatus for performing fractional subframe transmission
Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and apparatus for performing fractional subframe transmission. The method may comprise: in response to detecting that a channel becomes available, determining a target position from at least one potential position predefined in a subframe; and performing the fractional subframe transmission from the target position.
Adaptive notification system based on contextual information
Adaptive systems and methods for managing and delivering notifications to workers in a work environment are provided. The adaptive notification system receives and assesses contextual information to adjust notification configurations or to propose options or alternatives of adjustments to guide a user to adjust the notification configurations.
