Method for allowing drone activity to modify event detection by a monitoring system
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for enabling drone activity in a property monitored by a property monitoring system without triggering a false alarm. In one aspect, the method includes actions of obtaining a location of the drone, identifying a first sensor installed at the property that is within a predetermined distance of the drone, detecting first sensor data generated by the first sensor that is within a predetermined distance of the drone, wherein the first sensor data includes data that is indicative of an event, determining whether a second sensor that is mounted to the drone is generating second sensor data that corroborates the event indicated by the first sensor data, and disregarding, by the property monitoring system, the first sensor data in determining whether to trigger an alarm.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PUBLIC SAFETY ANSWERING POINT TO EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER COMMUNICATIONS
A method for public safety answering point to emergency operations center communications is provided. The method may comprise monitoring incidents at a public safety answering point (PSAP) to determine how many incidents are emergency operations center (EOC) affecting incidents. The method may further comprise determining a PSAP status, the status based in part on the EOC affecting incidents. The method may further comprise sending the PSAP status to an EOC, wherein the EOC determines if a response will be initiated, based, in part, on the PSAP status. The method may further comprise receiving an indication from the EOC that the response will be initiated. The method may further comprise altering a PSAP operations based on the EOC initiating the response.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ACTIVATING A SECURITY ACTION RESPONSIVE TO PROXIMAL DETECTION AND IDENTIFICATION OF A WIRELESS DEVICE
Systems and methods for activating a security action responsive to proximal detection and identification of a wireless device are provided. Such systems and methods can include a wireless radio of a door mounted contact sensor of a security system receiving a broadcast message that includes a device identifier from the wireless device. Then, such systems and methods can include determining whether the device identifier corresponds to any of a plurality of authorized devices enrolled with the security system, determining whether a signal parameter of the broadcast message satisfies a preconfigured access condition, and responsive thereto, performing the security action.

Open architecture, real time, multi-input threat correlation
A system and method for combining the inputs of various sensors used in platforms, primarily those having a military use, having or making use of a number of inputs capable of determining information about an environment in which they are operating. Each input is configured to output a standardized set of information regarding its capabilities and the environment in which it is operating. A correlator is configured to adaptably process the information based on rules contained in at least one changeable correlation matrix and information contained in at least one changeable configuration file. The information, or simply an alert, is provided to at least one output that provides the information to a human operator.
ESTABLISHING AN AUDIO/VIDEO LINK TO A CENTRAL MONITORING STATION
Provided are embodiments for an alarm system including one or more sensors configured to detect an alarm condition, and one or more client stations. The alarm system also includes a controller of a security panel operably coupled to the one or more client stations, and a central station operably coupled to the control panel over a network, wherein the central station is configured to initiate a conference between the one or more client stations and the central station. Also provided are embodiments for a method to establish an audio/video link to a central monitoring station.
Facility monitoring apparatus and method
An autonomous facility monitoring apparatus and method in a facility can remain on at all times and functions to determine whether an unauthorized person has entered or is attempting to enter the facility and/or whether an environmental danger exists or is predicted. Continuously monitoring physical characteristics of a person and/or location of a person in the facility provides information for automatically detecting and signaling a detrimental health condition, for automatically controlling operation of apparatus of the facility, for operating gaming features, and so on.
COMMUNITY-BASED SECURITY SYSTEM
A server accesses a security system profile of a first security system. The security system profile identifies a plurality of sensors connected to the first security system. The server identifies a second security system based on at least a first sensor of the plurality of sensors coupled to the first security system. The server then generates a notification sharing profile for the first security system based on the security system profile. The notification sharing profile indicates that the second security system corresponds to the first sensor. A first event triggered by the first sensor causes a first notification to the second security system.
Method for determining thresholds of a state monitoring unit for a fire detection and/or extinguishing control center, state monitoring unit, and system comprising same
The invention relates to a condition monitoring unit for a fire detection and/or extinguishing control unit. The condition monitoring unit comprises at least one current circuit connection for connecting the condition monitoring unit to at least one current circuit, wherein the current circuit has at least one participant which detects an event. The condition monitoring unit further comprises a measuring device for measuring values of currents and/or voltages at the current circuit connection and an analysis unit in which one or more threshold values can be stored. The analysis unit is designed to detect, in an operating mode at least, an event in which values of currents and/or voltages measured by the measuring device exceed or fall below the at least threshold value. The condition monitoring unit further comprises a memory unit or an interface for transmitting data to an external memory unit, wherein the condition monitoring unit is designed to store values of the currents and/or voltages measured by the measuring device in the memory unit, in a learning mode at least, or to output the values via the interface to the external memory unit and to determine or change the threshold values depending on the stored values of the currents and/or voltages. The invention also relates to a method for determining threshold values for a condition monitoring unit for a fire detection and/or extinguishing control unit, to a fire detection and/or extinguishing control unit and to a fire detection system.
Security system with smart connection module
Systems and techniques are described for a sensor designed to connect to and monitor devices in an ecosystem. In some implementations, a system monitors a property that includes the sensor configured to generate sensor data reflecting an attribute of the property. The sensor includes a host board that generates the sensor data and a core board connected to the host board. The core board identifies a type of the host board and communicates with a monitor control unit. The monitor control unit receives a request for firmware associated with the type of the host board from the sensor. In response, the monitor control unit accesses the firmware and transmits the firmware to the sensor. The core board of the sensor receives the firmware and stores the firmware. The core board receives the sensor data from the host board and transmits the sensor data to the monitor control unit.
