SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MONITORING ALARMS FROM THIRD PARTY DEVICES
20230035710 · 2023-02-02 ·

A server acts as an event analyzer for a home security or monitoring system. The server receives a signal from a remote third-party server, the signal including data relating to a condition detected by a device at a premises. The server determines whether the remote third-party server corresponds to a preexisting third-party server registration. The server determines whether the device corresponds to a preexisting device registration. When the remote third-party server is determined to correspond to the preexisting third-party server registration and the device is determined to correspond to the preexisting device registration, the server determines whether the condition detected by the device at the premises is an alarm condition. When the condition detected by the device at the premises is determined to be the alarm condition, the server transmits an alarm signal to a central monitoring station.

Monitoring support apparatus and monitoring support method for supporting work of monitoring person who monitors plurality of subjects by sequentially visiting the plurality of subjects

An apparatus includes a measuring device, a position specifying circuit, and a determining circuit. The measuring device measures a plurality of subjects by radiating a detecting wave toward the plurality of subjects. The position specifying circuit specifies positions of the plurality of subjects on a basis of information obtained by the measuring device. The determining circuit determines at least one of: a next subject suitable as a subject to be visited next by a monitoring person among the plurality of subjects; and a movement path along which the monitoring person moves from a position of the monitoring person to the next subject on a basis of the positions of the plurality of subjects specified by the position specifying circuit. A method performs the operations of the measuring device, and the circuits.

IOT BASED FIRE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Some embodiments are directed to a system that includes multiple fire sensors and equipment, and mobile devices of the users of the system. These fire sensors and equipment are configured in a network so as to allow communication with a processor. A processor in the system interrogates the status of the fire sensors and fire safety elements on a continuous basis. Upon a change in system status, the processor interprets the change and classifies according to operation state or probability of a fire or other imminent threat. The data, processing and storage provide the means by which occupants and potential occupants can better navigate a building during the occurrence of a fire. The system enables communication between users of the system through their mobile devices used and communication between devices that may be present in the

An emergency responder alert assembly includes an alert housing that is mountable at a location which is associated with a residence such that the alert housing is visible to emergency responders. A plurality of light emitters is provided and each of the light emitters is coupled to the alert housing for visually alerting the emergency responders that the residence is the location to which the emergency responders have been dispatched. A pendant actuate unit is movably integrated into a pendant and each of the light emitters is turned on when the pendant actuate unit is actuated by the user. A desktop actuate unit is in remote communication with the plurality of light emitters and each of the light emitters is turned on when the desktop actuate unit is actuated by the user.

Emergency reporting application
11490239 · 2022-11-01 ·

A wireless communication-based casualty reporting, responder-ready emergency application system permits users to notify one or more pre-programmed responders of an emergency event so that an emergency alert can be broadcast to notify the users in the facility/site of the emergency. The system includes a check-in and verification component to provide access with respect to each specific facility/site. The system further includes a data storage provision coupled with the main application and is configured to maintain logs of alert events and other relevant information for future reference to build protocols and check for any patterns. To facilitate these operations, the system is programmed to relay crisis management plans and standard emergency protocols to users within a facility/site when an emergency event arises.

Protective shield with display

The first display element is configured to selectively display an instructional message when directed by the electrical circuitry, wherein the first display element is configured to be visible at a distance from the first side of the protective shield. The portable protection apparatus also includes a second display element positioned on a second side of the protective shield configured to display the instructional message to the user holding the protective shield.

COLLABORATIVE CONTROL OF EVACUATION OF A VENUE

In an approach to invention purpose, for controlling evacuation of a plurality of individuals carrying corresponding portable computing devices from a venue having a plurality of exits associated with corresponding exit computing devices, wherein the method comprises, under the control of the portable computing device of each of the individuals. One or more computer processors receive one or more of evacuation messages of wireless type each being transmitted by a source entity. The one or more computer processors select a selected evacuation message of the received evacuation messages according to the hop number of the received evacuation messages. The one or more computer processors subscribe to a directed exit being set to the origin exit of the selected evacuation message.

Systems and methods for crowdsourcing detected events
11610470 · 2023-03-21 · ·

A computer-implemented method for crowdsourcing detected events is described. In one embodiment, an event is detected via one or more sensors located at a first location within a predetermined geographic area. Data from the one or more sensors is analyzed to determine a scope of the event. Upon determining the scope of the event affects a second location within the predetermined geographic area, a notification is sent to a user associated with a location within the predetermined geographic area that does not include a sensor of a type that detects the event.
