CHINESE CHARACTER INFORMATION RECORDING METHOD
20200126274 · 2020-04-23 ·

The present invention provides a Chinese character information recording method and a Chinese character stroke order recognition figure in an information recording method. A Chinese character structure is split into several parts step by step according to a simplicity rule in the Chinese character information recording method, and the several parts are sequenced, so as to recognize an approximate stroke order of the Chinese character structure. Similarly, approximate stroke orders of most Chinese characters can be recognized. With reference to a special situation table of a Chinese character stroke order, a step of recognizing a stroke of a Chinese character, and a step of recording a Chinese character by using an information recording tool according to a stroke order, most Chinese characters can be recorded successfully, thereby helping a beginner of the Chinese character to shorten time for successfully recording a Chinese character. Approximate stroke orders of most Chinese characters can be recognized simply by using the Chinese character stroke order recognition figure.

A penmanship device is provided to assist students learning to write consistently and evenly. The device comprises a body with a handle portion and an operational portion. The operational portion has at least two windows. A first window is used for alignment and a second window is used to write. A user writes a first letter of a first word within the confines of the second window. To write the next letter, the device is shifted so that an edge of the previous letter is aligned with a left lateral edge of the second window. This is repeated until the word is completed. To write the next word, the device is shifted so that an edge of a last letter of the previous word is aligned with a right lateral edge of the first window. In another embodiment, the device has three windows providing left-handed and right-handed support.

Drawing Tutorial Application Utilizing Image Processing

Described herein is a system and method regarding an interactive drawing tutorial session for creating a drawing using a computer application. A digital image is processed to determine linework and shading information for a plurality of shading levels. A graphical user interface for an interactive drawing tutorial session for creating the drawing by displaying the determined linework to a user. User linework input is received for the drawing based upon the displayed linework information. Feedback is provided to the user regarding the received user linework input (e.g., regarding tilt and/or pressure of electronic stylus). For each of the plurality of shading levels, the determined shading information is displayed to the user. User shading input is received for the drawing based upon the displayed shading information. Feedback is provided to the user regarding the received user shading input (e.g., regarding tilt and/or pressure of electronic stylus).

A method for improving spatial awareness of a user during drawing includes obtaining, using one or more sensors, position information of a drawing instrument relative to a drawing canvas. The method includes determining, using one or more processors, a first vibration intensity when the drawing instrument is within a first region of the drawing canvas based on the obtained position information. The method includes determining, using the one or more processors, a second vibration intensity when the drawing instrument is within a second region of the drawing canvas based on the obtained position information. The second vibration intensity can be larger than the first vibration intensity and the second region can be distinct from the first region. The method includes generating, by a sensory device, a vibration based on one or both of the first vibration intensity or the second vibration intensity.
