Method for freehand sketch training
A computer-based method and system for teaching educational sketching includes receiving a user-generated image created in response to a learning assignment and comparing the user-generated image to a solution image to identify one or more errors in the user-generated image relative to the solution image, where the errors may include additional image elements and missing image elements. Comparing is performed by providing a solution region corresponding to an acceptable variation from the solution image and identifying one or more errors based on a presence or absence of at least a portion of a corresponding element of the user-generated image within the solution region. If errors are identified and a non-passing status is determined, a hint is displayed to the user. The hint may be the correct elements of the user-generated image, a portion of the solution image, or a combination thereof.
Digital pen with enhanced educational feedback
Disclosed is a digital pen that tracks the user's writing and provides useful feedback based on the user's writing. In one embodiment, the pen may provide feedback when the user has written a misspelled word, invalid mathematical expression, or any noncompliant expression. The pen may also provide feedback relating to the user's handwriting. The feedback may be visual, auditory, or tactile, and may be realtime or delayed. Statistics relating to the user's performance may be tracked, uploaded to external devices, and shared with others. This allows the user and interested parties to track the user's progress over time. The disclosed pen will be useful in educational settings.

Interactive system for decorating two and three dimensional objects
A computer enabled method teaching a relation of two-dimensional depictions with three dimensional objects is provided. Users employ printed line drawings having sections thereon which may be colorized by the user. The colorized line drawings may then be electronically imaged and positioned upon video depictions of the three dimensional object as a viewable guide to the user during colorization of a physical rendition of the three dimensional object. The system may employ product packaging as the three dimensional object to defray costs and for contests and product promotion.

Agitatable Coloring Utensil
An agitatable coloring utensil is an apparatus that spins the tip of a drawing, coloring, or writing utensil as the user is using the drawing, coloring, or writing utensil. The apparatus includes a tubular body, a marking tip, a motor, a portable power source, and at least one user control. The tubular body is the structural housing for the other component of the apparatus and allows the user to have a firm grasp of the apparatus while using the apparatus to write or draw. The motor is used to drive the rotation of the marking tip. The portable power source is used to electrically power the motor and allows the apparatus to be easily transportable by the user. The user control allows the user to either activate, deactivate, or adjust the rotation of the marking tip.
METHOD OF PROVIDING HANDWRITING STYLE CORRECTION FUNCTION AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE ADAPTED THERETO
A method of providing a handwriting style correction function and an electronic device adapted to the method are provided. The electronic device includes: a touch screen; a processor electrically connected to the touch screen; and a memory electrically connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising: displaying at least one reference character on the touch screen; receiving a touch gesture via the touch screen; displaying a track of the received touch gesture on the touch screen; recognizing the track of the touch gesture as at least one input character corresponding to at least one reference character; identifying at least one reference character and at least one input character, as at least one stroke, based on a preset standard; comparing corresponding strokes of at least one reference character with at least one input character, and determining errors by strokes; and summing the errors by strokes of each of at least one reference character, and determining errors by characters.
INTERACTIVE SERVICE PLATFORM AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF
An operating method of an interactive service platform including the steps of: communicating with a plurality of user end devices via an application software; receiving physiological measurement information of user from the user end devices via the application software; analyzing the physiological measurement information to identify a physical and mental state/lifestyle of an associated subscriber; and automatically responding content information associated with at least one associated subscriber according to requests from the user end devices.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR WRITING SKILL DEVELOPMENT
A computer-implemented method for designing a user-specific writing skill game is provided. The computer-implemented method comprises tracking a handwriting performance and generating a digital representation of the handwriting performance. The handwriting performance is performed by a user with a writing instrument. The method further comprises identifying user-specific handwriting skills which require improvement based on the digital representation of the handwriting performance. Then a writing skill game is designed. The writing skill game is designed to include one or more game tasks to be performed by the user. The one or more game tasks require the user to apply the user-specific handwriting skills which are to be improved.
