MUSIC LEARNING APPARATUS AND MUSIC LEARNING METHOD USING TACTILE SENSATION

A tactile music learning apparatus converts sound data of a user's voice corresponding to original music into first tactile data including tactile information, generates a synchronized tactile pattern by synchronizing the first tactile data with second tactile data including tactile information corresponding to sound data of the original music, and transfers the synchronized tactile pattern to a tactile reproducing apparatus to allow the tactile reproducing apparatus to reproduce the synchronized tactile pattern.

Methods and systems for assisting tonally-challenged singers. A microphone can be integrated with a sound reinforcement system used in a live performance. The microphone, which can transduce the performer's voice, can serve multiple purposes such as, for example, to feed input to the natural ear and to the sound reinforcement system. The processed sound of the performer's voice (with fundamental frequency emphasized) can be mixed into the signal fed to a stage “monitor” speaker facing the performer or a headset worn by the performer.

A METHOD, SYSTEM, APP OR KIT OF PARTS FOR TEACHING MUSICAL RHYTHM, IN PARTICULAR PERCUSSION

Musical rhythm, is taught using a sequenced rhythm pattern, wherein a user's strike within a time window around each note maintains suppression of audible output. If a strike falls outside the time window, output resumes. FIG. 2 shows a smartphone/tablet app. Pad 13 is struck in harmony with a rhythmic pattern on display 1. Means 3 to 11 adjust app parameters. Means 2 control rhythm. A display preferably shows current and past states of the system during a session (e.g. metronome suppressed, metronome non-suppressed, strike detected in time window, strikes outside time window), as well as time remaining in the current session, as either a ‘clock’ or ‘pie chart’ type, or rectilinear ‘bar’ type, the ‘time remaining’ segment of the display being progressively replaced by sections e.g. of differing colour or texture corresponding to the current state, with the ‘time past’ segments displaying the past states.

Embodiments herein illustrate an educational musical game. The educational musical game includes a first set of polygon tokens representing a first combination of a first set of musical notes and a first musical interval between musical notes in the first set of musical notes. Further educational musical game includes a second set of polygon tokens representing a second combination of a second set of musical notes and a second musical interval between the musical notes in the second set of musical notes. The second set of polygon tokens is configured to be coupled with the first set of polygon tokens based on one or more rules associated with the first set of musical notes and the second set of musical notes.

TOYS WITH CAPACITIVE TOUCH FEATURES

A children's toy with touch interactivity. The children's toy generally includes a user input panel and one or more touch sensors. The user input panel may be formed from a natural organic material such as wood. The toy can be shaped and ornamented to resemble a toy tablet with buttons or icons incorporating images of one or more animals and configured to play animal sounds or information about the animals in response to user input applied to the user input panel and sensed by the touch sensors.

MOTION FEEDBACK DEVICE

A motion feedback device includes a housing, a speaker and a control module carried by said housing. The control module includes a controller and a motion sensor. The controller is configured to include a mapping adapted for the creation of sound in response to any user-produced movement of the housing as detected by the motion sensor. This allows for continuous original sound generation or composition based upon the user produced movements of the housing.
