Systems and methods for tracking position of a moving transmission source
A system for tracking position of one or more moving transmission sources is disclosed. The transmission source can transmit a signal while moving from a first position to a first expected position and a receiver can receive the signal. The transmission source can include an antenna. An audio source can transmit an audio signal at a predetermined frequency and a controller can determine a second position of the transmission source, calculate an offset between the second position with the first expected position, and compare the offset with a predetermined threshold. A first rate of movement can be calculated based on a distance traveled between the first position and the second position with respect to the predetermined frequency. A first indication can be transmitted to at least one user device including the first location offset with the predetermined threshold and the first rate of movement.

System and Method For Reusable Digital Video Templates Incorporating Cumulative Sequential Iteration Technique In Music Education
Disclosed is a method of presenting a media file enabling a user to emulate musical content therein. The media file comprises a plurality of segments, each segment representing a demonstration of at least part of a musical phrase comprising one or more musical notes of a piece of music. The method comprises presenting a first segment of the plurality of segments for emulation by the user. The method further comprises subsequently presenting the first segment followed by a second segment of the plurality of segments for emulation by the user. The method further comprises subsequently presenting the previously presented segments followed by additional segments until all of the plurality of segments have been presented for emulation by the user.
Musical instrument activity monitoring system
A musical instrument activity monitoring system having a tracking and monitoring assembly including a microcontroller with non-volatile memory, an accelerometer, at least one sensor, and an antenna each in communication with the microcontroller, a power source, and a coupler. In-use parameters of musical instrument activity is tracked and monitored by the tracking and monitoring assembly. The microcontroller with non-volatile memory stores data. The data relates to values and timestamps retrieved from use of the at least one musical instrument and environmental conditions at least one musical instrument is in to analyze performance of the at least one musical instrument.
Method and apparatus for an adaptive and interactive teaching of playing a musical instrument
A method for online music learning of playing a musical instrument, that may be a string instrument, a woodwind instrument, a brass instrument, a percussion instrument, or vocal (singing) is described. A client device, such as a smartphone or a tablet notifies a person, such as visually by a display or audibly by a sounder, of a sequence of musical symbols that may be part of a musical piece to be played on the musical instrument. The pace or tempo of the notified sequence is adapted according to a stored skill level value of the person and the pace or tempo associated with the musical piece. The client device, monitors, using a microphone(s) in the client device, the errors in the playing of the sequence, and using a predefined accordingly updates the stored skill level value, and accordingly changes the arrangement, pace and/or tempo of the next sequence of musical symbols.

Apparatus providing teeth location guide for use with single-reed woodwind instruments
Apparatus for providing teeth position guide for single-reed woodwind music instruments are disclosed. The apparatus includes a mouthpiece patch containing top and bottom sides with at least two thickness layer formed therebetween. The bottom side is a flat surface having an adhesive means configured thereon. The top side is a split-level surface containing first and second levels having different thicknesses. A ledge is formed between the first level and the second level, whereby the ledge is configured as a position guide for upper incisor teeth of a player of woodwind instruments, when the mouthpiece patch is attached to a mouthpiece.
Adaptive layout of sheet music in coordination with detected audio
A device is configured to display electronic sheet music. The device may display electronic sheet music that can be magnified and displayed in sequence by reflowing electronic musical symbols between pages. In addition, the device may adaptively determine a layout based on user preferences, such as a desired magnification, an orientation of a device or the like, and may display a current location in the electronic sheet music based on user input, a remote trigger, a desired playback speed or by monitoring an audio input from a microphone and determining a current location in the electronic sheet music. For example, the device may detect a series of pitches and display the electronic sheet music based on a most recent pitch in the series of pitches.
TOYS WITH CAPACITIVE TOUCH FEATURES
A children's toy with capacitive touch interactivity. The children's toy generally includes a user input overlay panel and one or more capacitive touch sensors. The overlay panel may be formed from a capacitive touch conductive natural organic material such as wood. The toy can be shaped and ornamented to resemble a musical instrument and configured to play music in response to user input applied to the user input overlay panel and sensed by the capacitive touch sensors.
