MUSIC NOTATION SYSTEM
The invention disclosed herein comprises a method for visually representing music to be played on a musical instrument by providing a tablature staff which is divided into individual measures by segmenting the tablature staff with measure lines. Each measure is then further divided into proportional time subdivisions using subdivision lines. Alphanumeric notes are then printed between these subdivision lines on the tablature staff, wherein each alphanumeric note represents a tone to be played on a musical instrument and wherein the duration of each alphanumeric note is indicated by the number of time subdivisions within a measure and its corresponding font size.
PRACTICE SUPPORT DEVICE AND PRACTICE SUPPORT METHOD FOR WIND INSTRUMENT PERFORMER
A device that supports a performer of a wind instrument, the device including: a processor; and a memory, in which the processor acquires data indicating a myoelectric potential value measured by, a myoelectric sensor arranged on a surface of the face of a performer, the memory stores a table including a listing of conditions for the myoelectric potential value and a corresponding listing of support information for playing the wind instrument, and the processor determines whether the acquired myoelectric potential value satisfies at least a portion of a target condition included in the listing of conditions, determines support information corresponding to the target condition, when the acquired myoelectric potential value is determined to satisfy the at least a portion of the target condition, generates a support image corresponding to the determined support information, and controls a display to display the generated support image.

KIT FOR FACILITATING MUSIC LEARNING
The present disclosure provides a kit for facilitating music learning. The kit comprises: a receptacle configured to represent a music note, the receptacle comprising a slot; and a modifier card configured to be inserted into the slot of the receptacle for modifying at least one of an accent, volume, articulation, or chromatic alteration of the music note based on a design of the modifier card, wherein the receptacle and modifier card serves as an indication for a user to vocally perform the modified music note.
Apparatus, system and method for teaching music and other art forms
An apparatus, system and method are disclosed for teaching musical instruction. The invention disclosed includes providing music instruction based upon a student's ability and preferred most dynamic efficient method of learning.

Apparatus and method to facilitate singing intended notes
A method and apparatus to facilitate tone challenged singers to sing intended notes. In one aspect, the singer determines a note to sing corresponding to an intended frequency f.sub.i. The singer utters a note continuously with fundamental frequency f.sub.u into a microphone of the natural ear apparatus. The note is processed by the apparatus to produce sound emphasizing the fundamental frequency f.sub.u and output through a speaker to the auditory organs of the singer. The singer detects differences between intended frequency f.sub.i and uttered fundamental frequency f.sub.u. The singer adjusts his vocal organs as he utters the note with the intention of changing f.sub.u to reduce difference between f.sub.i and f.sub.u.

Performance training apparatus and method
For each sound of a model performance, performance information designating a sound generation timing and sound are supplied, and for each of a plurality of phrases into which the model performance is divided, intensity information indicative of an intensity of sound for the phrase is supplied. In accordance with a progression of a performance time and for each phrase of the model performance, the intensity information is acquired ahead of a start timing when a performance of the phrase is to be started, and the intensity of sound common to sounds in the phrase is presented based on the acquired intensity information. The intensity of the sound is presented in a visual or audible manner. In this way, a human player can know, through a visual display and/or an audible sound, an intensity of a key depression operation for each phrase of the model performance before starting the phrase. As a result, the human player can practice the performance while being aware of the intensity of sound for each phrase.
