Apparatus and method for updating high definition map for autonomous driving
A method for updating a high definition map according to one embodiment comprises: obtaining a two-dimensional image that captures a target area corresponding to at least a part of an area expressed by a three-dimensional high definition map, generating a three-dimensional local landmark map of the target area from a position of a landmark in the two-dimensional image, based on a position and an orientation of a photographing device which has captured the two-dimensional image and updating the high definition map with reference to the local landmark map corresponding to the target area of the three-dimensional high definition map.
Technical solutions for customized tours
An apparatus and method for configuring a customized tour includes providing a list of tour subject indicators with a relevance value for locations to be toured, receiving user selection data regarding the subject indicators, and configuring a tour route based on an aggregate relevance score calculated for the tour subject indicators and locations indicated by one or more users. The method and apparatus may further include defining at least one tour route record comprising an ordered list of locations that satisfies at least a minimum aggregate relevance score constraint and a maximum tour duration constraint and saving information defining the at least one tour route record in a computer memory for use in delivering a corresponding tour.
SHIELDING DETECTION DEVICE AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A shielding detection unit (111) detects one or more shielded sections in which a road surface of a target road, on which a measuring vehicle has traveled, has not been measured, based on three-dimensional point group data indicating a three-dimensional coordinate value of each measurement spot that has been measured by a laser scanner mounted on the measuring vehicle. A result display unit (112) generates a target road map and displays the target road map, the target road map indicating the target road and indicating the one or more shielded sections in a manner to distinguish the one or more shielded sections from each unshielded section in which the road surface of the target road has been measured.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
This information processing device includes: a collection unit collecting, on the basis of activations of a plurality of flavor suction tools, information about the locations of a plurality of user terminals respectively connected to the plurality of flavor suction tools which the locations of all or some of the plurality of user terminals are indicated in an identifiable mode; a determination unit determining whether it is suitable to present, as use areas of the flavor suction tools, the respective one or more areas in which the user terminals are located in the user location map; and a second creation unit creating a determination result map in which the area determined to be suitable to be presented as the use area of the flavor suction tool is indicated in the identifiable mode.
TWO-PROCESS SLEEP WHEEL
A wheel chart for visualizing sleep pressure on a person's body by manipulating a series of moveable circular disks positioned on a common axis wherein the wheel includes a first disk representing a circadian (C) process and second disk representing a homeostatic (S) process. The disks are rotatable relative to each other to simulate how the C and S processes increase and decrease sleep pressure.
LIVE SONAR SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system for generating live sonar images is provided having a first and second sonar transducer assembly. The sonar transducer assemblies each have sonar transducer elements configured to transmit sonar beam(s) into an underwater environment to form respective coverage volumes. The sonar transducer assemblies each define a respective facing direction. The system includes bracket(s) having alignment feature(s). The bracket(s) are configured to mount the sonar transducer assemblies to a watercraft, and the alignment feature(s) are configured to position the sonar transducer assemblies so that the facing directions are different and relative to each other so as to create continuous coverage of the underwater environment. Continuous coverage has an overall coverage volume that is greater than either of the coverage volumes individually. Sonar return data from the sonar transducer elements is used to form a live sonar image representative of sonar returns received from the overall coverage volume.
Flood monitoring and management system
Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for a flood-recovery analysis tool. One method includes operations for accessing weather information for a geographical region divided into cells and for generating runoff data based on the weather information. The runoff data includes a predicted amount of free-running water on a surface of each cell of the region. Further, the method includes operations for generating a prediction of inflow and outflow of water between cells, and for calculating, for a plurality of sub-cells of each cell in the geographical region, a predicted water depth in each sub-cell based on the prediction of the inflow and outflow between cells and a hydraulic model. Additionally, the method includes operations for generating a flood inundation map showing the predicted water depth at each sub-cell in the geographical region, and for causing presentation of the flood inundation map in a user interface of a display device.
CENTERLINE CORRECTION APPARATUS, CENTERLINE CORRECTION METHOD, AND SPATIAL NETWORK DATA GENERATION SYSTEM AND PROGRAM
A centerline correction apparatus according to one embodiment corrects a centerline of a path that is acquired from shape information about an indoor space or road shape information about an outdoor space and that is a travelable region in the indoor space or the outdoor space. This centerline correction apparatus includes a centerline correction unit that performs: a center point extraction process that extracts a center point of an individual side of the centerline; a centerline correction process that moves the centerline to be at a center with respect to a distance to a boundary of an original shape based on the extracted center point; and an unnecessary centerline deletion process that deletes an unnecessary one of the moved centerlines.
Vehicle-mounted device, recording medium, and notification method
This vehicle-mounted device installed in a vehicle is provided with a communication unit that communicates with a mobile terminal; a vehicle information acquiring unit that acquires operation information of the vehicle; and a vehicle-mounted controller that, on the basis of an operating status of the vehicle-mounted device, transmits a first notification notifying the mobile terminal of the possibility that the vehicle has stopped to the mobile terminal via the communication unit and that, on the basis of the operation information of the vehicle, transmits a second notification notifying the mobile terminal that the vehicle has stopped to the mobile terminal via the communication unit.
Systems and methods for genealogical graphing
Computer-implemented methods and systems for automatically generating a genealogical graph for an initial member and a target member are provided. An example system includes a memory and a processor that can operate to: receive an initial member identifier identifying the initial member and a target member identifier identifying the target member; retrieve, from the memory, a set of genealogical data for the initial member and a set of genealogical data for the target member; and determine whether a genealogical connection exists between the initial member and the target member. In response to determining the genealogical connection exists between the initial member and the target member, the processor can generate the genealogical graph to illustrate the determined genealogical connection and a subset of genealogical data from the set of genealogical data for the target member.
