INTEGRATED WEATHER PROJECTION SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES
The systems, methods, and apparatuses described herein provide integrated weather forecast products designed to assist operations managers with operational decision-making related to a designated event or set of events. The present disclosure provides a way to process weather data from various sources and in diverse data formats containing varying spatial resolutions and temporal resolutions, in order to generate an integrated and cohesive weather projection product such that the weather projection product is continuous in both spatial and temporal domains, subject to data availability, relative to a designated event or set of events.
METHOD OF TRAINING MULTILINE INSURANCE AGENTS
A method includes training multiline insurance agents on having a conversation with the insured for discovering the insured's financial situation and risks by creating a visual diagram of the insured's financial situation and risks. The diagram includes the insured's name at the center of the visual diagram including an income box of the insured's household income. A family box is drawn from the income box with a family tree of the insured's family thereunder. An assets box is drawn from the income box with an asset listing of the insured's listing thereunder. A listing of risks is drawn at the bottom of the visual diagram. A box is drawn around the insured's name, the income box, the family box with the family tree, and the assets box with the asset listing, where the bottom of the box provides a boundary between the listing of risks and the family box and assets box.

MAP PROVIDING SYSTEM
An object of a map providing system of the present invention is to specify a range of map data that may be newly prepared, and to increase an opportunity to use a latest map. A map providing system compares route information or road information on a first map stored in a first map storage portion (71) with road information on a second map stored in a second map storage portion (21), selects an update point of the second map on the basis of road information not included in the second map, and requests a map OTA server 5 that manages latest update data of the second map to provide the update data of the update point of the second map.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a controller that determines the mode of inclination of a display object that is an image shaped to point to one direction, and a drawing unit that projects light representing the display object in the mode of inclination determined by the controller onto a windshield to cause the light to be reflected off the windshield toward a user in the vehicle to enable the user to visually recognize the display object in the mode of inclination as a virtual image through the windshield. The controller determines the mode of inclination of the display object that points to the one direction as a navigation direction, by controlling yaw and roll angles of the display object depending on the attribute of a path point that is set on the path to navigate the vehicle to a destination.
Digital mapping system
Various methods, systems, and apparatus for implementing aspects of a digital mapping system are disclosed. One such method includes sending a location request from a client-side computing device to a map tile server, receiving a set of map tiles in response to the location request, assembling said received map tiles into a tile grid, aligning the tile grid relative to a clipping shape, and displaying the result as a map image. Direction control or zoom control objects may be included as interactive overlays on the displayed map image. The displayed map image may also include route or location overlays.
Vehicle position guidance system and vehicle position guidance method
A vehicle position guidance system includes a terminal position measurement section, a vehicle position measurement section, a calculator, and a guide. The terminal position measurement section measures a position of a terminal carried by a user. The vehicle position measurement section measures a position of a parked vehicle. The calculator obtains a route using position information related to the terminal and position information related to the parked vehicle. The guide assists the user in entering the vehicle by selectively using a first guidance and a second guidance depending on whether a distance is long or short between the terminal and the parked vehicle on the route. The first guidance provides guidance to the position of the parked vehicle using the terminal. The second guidance provides guidance to the position of the parked vehicle through a notification using a vehicle on-board device of the parked vehicle.
Apparatus for providing map
The present invention relates to an apparatus for providing a map which is mounted on a vehicle to provide map data to a plurality of electric components equipped in the vehicle. The apparatus for providing a map comprises: a communication unit for performing communication with the electric components and receiving, from a server, an original map including a plurality of layers; and a processor for calculating the reliability of information relating to the electric components using the original map and electric component information, which is received from at least one of the electric components, and performing controls relating to the electric component information based on the reliability.
Navigation device
A navigation device includes a route searching unit for searching for a route leading to an arbitrary point on the basis of map data acquired by a map data acquiring unit, an HOV lane determining unit for determining whether or not an HOV lane is included in the route which the route searching unit has searched for, a predicted arrival time calculating unit for, when the HOV lane determining unit determines that an HOV lane is included in the route, calculating a predicted arrival time required to arrive at the arbitrary point by way of the route which is shorter than a time required to arrive at the arbitrary point by way of a route in which no HOV lane is included, and a display processing unit for displaying the predicted arrival time calculated by the predicted arrival time calculating unit.
ROUTE SEARCH SYSTEM, METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Route search systems, methods, and programs acquire movement paths of a plurality of users, and classify, on the basis of a plurality of characteristics of the movement paths of the plurality of users, the movement paths of each of the users into a plurality of types such that movement paths with a plurality of similar characteristics belong to a same type. The systems, methods, and programs set a cost for each of the types and each attribute of a road on the basis of the plurality of movement paths of each of the types, classify, on the basis of a plurality of characteristics of a movement path of a route searcher, the route searcher into one of the types, and search for a route on the basis of the cost which is set for the type of the route searcher.
