AUTOMATIC POWER ON APPARATUS, SYSTEM, METHOD, AND CIRCUIT
An automatic power on apparatus, system, method, and circuit automatically control the on/off state of a first electronic device or a second electronic device. When the second electronic device is positioned on, in, or proximate to the mounting area of the first electronic device, the automatic power on circuit establishes a coupling signal between a first portion of the automatic power on circuit and a second portion of the automatic power on circuit, activates the automatic power on circuit based on the coupling signal, and automatically controls an on/off state of the first electronic device or the second electronic device based on the activation of the automatic power on circuit.
EVALUATION SYSTEM AND EVALUATION METHOD
The evaluation system for evaluating a status of rumen fermentation in a ruminant includes an evaluation device that has an estimation unit for estimating a status of rumen fermentation in a ruminant based on a milk production record which indicates a milk yield and a milk component of milk produced by the ruminant. According to the evaluation system, it is possible to easily evaluate the status of rumen fermentation in the ruminant.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF PROVIDING NETWORKS BASED ON TEXTILES
Systems and methods described herein include disparate textiles integrated with fixtures or objects within a workspace. The respective disparate textiles may be interconnected via electrical interconnection busses and may include electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical structures for sensing data associated with workspace users. The systems may provide, based on the sensed data, actuator output to one or more disparate textiles for personalizing or altering the workspace environment.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR NON-INVASIVE FORECASTING, DETECTION AND MONITORING OF VIRAL INFECTIONS
Devices, systems, and methods herein relate to non-invasive patient monitoring for infection detection and infection resolution. These systems and methods may receive and measure patient biosignals to estimate an infection level of a patient. In some embodiments, a method may include the steps of receiving physiological data of a patient. An infection measure may be estimated based on the physiological data. An infection state of the patient may be detected based at least in part on the estimated infection measure.

Systems and methods include an image capture component configured to capture infrared images of a scene, and a logic device configured to identify a target in the images, acquire temperature data associated with the target based on the images, evaluate the temperature data and determine a corresponding temperature classification, and process the identified target in accordance with the temperature classification. The logic device identifies a person and tracks the person across a subset of the images, identify a measurement location for the target in a subset of the images based on target feature points identified by a neural network, and measure a temperature of the location using corresponding values from one or more captured thermal images. The logic device is further configured calculate a core body temperature of the target using the temperature data to determine whether the target has a fever and calibrate using one or more black bodies.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATIC COUGH DETECTION
A method for identifying cough sounds in an audio recording of a subject including: operating at least one electronic processor to identify potential cough sounds in the audio recording; operating the at least one electronic processor to transform one or more of the potential cough sounds into corresponding one or more image representations; operating the at least one electronic processor to apply the one or more image representations to a representation pattern classifier trained to confirm that a potential cough sound is a cough sound or is not a cough sound; and operating the at least one electronic processor to flag one or more of the potential cough sounds as confirmed cough sounds based on an output of the representation pattern classifier.
ANORECTAL BIOFEEDBACK DEVICE
A pressure sensing device including an elongate housing configured to be at least partially inserted into a user, and that defines an external surface having a proximal end and a distal end defining a longitudinal axis therebetween. The device includes a first pressure sensor, configured to sense pressure applied to a first portion of the external surface and to convert the sensed pressure to first pressure data, and a second pressure sensor, configured to sense pressure applied to a second portion of the external surface and to convert the sensed pressure to second pressure data. Sensor is spaced, along the longitudinal axis, toward the distal end from sensor.
Lymphatic Access, Drainage, And Shunting
Several embodiments and methods are described for draining a lymphatic system for therapeutic purposes. The lymphatic draining can be performed by removal of fluid from the lymphatic system via a needle, a catheter, an access port, a reservoir, a shunt, or a combination of these devices. The drainage devices can be configured for use during only a single procedure or for reoccurring procedures.
WEARABLE CHRONIC MONITORING SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES
The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods of collecting environmental and/or biometric information and/or data using a chronic monitoring apparatus that includes a wearable expandable support structure to wirelessly receive power via a wireless power transfer antenna disposed in, on, or about the wearable expandable support structure. The chronic monitoring apparatus includes power receiver circuitry, data transmission circuitry, sensor circuitry, and control circuitry. The wearable expandable support structure maintains close contact between at least a portion of the sensor circuitry and the wearer of the chronic monitoring apparatus without requiring the use of adhesives or other bonding agents. The chronic monitoring apparatus communicates the collected environmental and/or biometric information to external data collection circuitry. The components included in the chronic monitoring apparatus are sealed within the wearable expandable support structure providing a rugged, reliable, resilient and waterproof system that is biocompatible, non-irritating and does not require the use of adhesives.
QUANTITATIVE MAPPING OF MRI RELAXATION PARAMETERS
Magnetic resonance imaging according to the present invention includes T1, T2, or diffusion mapping with improved image resolution. The improved image resolution is achieved by leveraging the delay in the image acquisition to remove the partial volume effect of fluid in and around the tissue being imaged.
