There is provided an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a program that enable display of an advertisement in an appropriate region within a captured image. The image processing apparatus sets, on the basis of density of people in a predetermined region within a captured image, an advertisement display region for superimposition of an advertisement image on the captured image. The present technology is applicable to a television (TV) broadcast system.

The hat cover body is attached to the base housing via a circular ring shaped platform having a plurality of spokes extruding from the central cylindrical support column. The central cylindrical support column is telescopically received in the upstanding hollow cylindrical sleeve of the base housing. The elongated bolt removably extends through the tubular guide, the hat cover body, the upstanding cylindrical sleeve, and locks at the central cylindrical support column.

A signage control system comprises: a primary estimation circuitry to use signage-side images and surveillance-side images to estimate a person feature, attributes and behavior of each person captured in these frame images; a storage device to associate and store results of estimations of the person feature, the attributes and the behavior of each specific person; an estimation result linkage circuitry to use the person feature stored in the storage device to link the results of estimations based on the frame images from multiple ones of the cameras for the same person so as to generate a group of estimation results for each person; and a content change circuitry to change a content displayed on the signage to another based on the attributes of each person expected to be in a position where such person can visually recognize the content on the signage, and based on preceding behavior of such person.

In a case where the mobile terminal comes into proximity to the display section, the display section is caused to display a guide for bringing the mobile terminal in proximity to at least one of the at least one antenna.
