Various methods and systems are provided for tracking a biopsy target across one or more images. In one example, a method includes determining a position of a biopsy target in a selected image of a patient based on an image registration process with a reference image of the patient, and displaying a graphical representation of the position of the biopsy target on the selected image.

Systems and methods for correcting mismatch induced by respiratory motion in positron emission tomography image reconstruction

The disclosure relates to PET imaging systems and methods. The systems may obtain a plurality of PET images of a subject and a CT image acquired by performing a spiral CT scan on the subject. Each gated PET image may include a plurality of sub-gated PET images. The CT image may include a plurality of sub-CT images each of which corresponds to one of the plurality of sub-gated PET images. The systems may determine a target motion vector field between a target physiological phase and a physiological phase of the CT image based on the plurality of sub-gated PET images and the plurality of sub-CT images. The systems may reconstruct an attenuation corrected PET image corresponding to the target physiological phase based on the target motion vector field, the CT image, and PET data used for the plurality of gated PET images reconstruction.

A radiotherapy system includes X-ray imaging apparatuses that obtain an X-ray image of the patient on a reference plane, and a position determination apparatus. The position determination apparatus calculates parameters of a region estimation model, using, as input data, a reference fluoroscopic image obtained before radiotherapy, and also using, as teacher data, a reference ROI image obtained with respect to the reference fluoroscopic image before radiotherapy. During radiotherapy, the position determination apparatus estimates a region of interest with respect to the X-ray image and a DRR image, based on the parameters and the X-ray image, determines a degree of matching between the X-ray image and the DRR image for the region of interest while virtually changing a relative position/orientation relationship between a CT image and the reference plane, and determines an amount of deviation in position/orientation between the patient and the CT image.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program causes a computer to perform an analysis process based on a radiation moving image in which a dynamic state of a specific site of a subject is captured. The program includes the analysis process in which, an analysis is performed based on the radiation moving image wherein when a plane in which the specific site is movable is to be a movable plane, the radiation moving image is obtained by irradiating radiation on the specific site in a state in which the radiation is orthogonal to the movable plane.

Methods and systems for an adaptive multi-phase angiography scan

Methods and systems are provided for adaptive scan control. In one embodiment, a method includes, upon an injection of a contrast agent, processing acquired projection data of a monitoring area of a subject to measure a contrast signal of the contrast agent, estimating two or more target times of the contrast agent at the monitoring area of the subject based on the contrast signal, and carrying out a contrast scan that includes a two or more acquisitions each performed at a respective target time.

Devices, systems, and methods for motion-corrected medical imaging

Devices, systems, and methods receive scan data that were generated by scanning a region of a subject with a computed tomography apparatus; generate multiple partial angle reconstruction (PAR) images based on the scan data; obtain corresponding characteristics of the multiple PAR images; perform correspondence mapping on the multiple PAR images based on the obtained corresponding characteristics and on the multiple PAR images, wherein the correspondence mapping generates correspondence-mapping data; and generate a motion-corrected reconstruction image based on the correspondence-mapping data and on one or both of the scan data and the PAR images.

Method and systems for anatomy/view classification in x-ray imaging

Various methods and systems are provided for x-ray imaging. In one embodiment, a method for an image pasting examination comprises acquiring, via an optical camera and/or depth camera, image data of a subject, controlling an x-ray source and an x-ray detector according to the image data to acquire a plurality of x-ray images of the subject, and stitching the plurality of x-ray images into a single x-ray image. In this way, optimal exposure techniques may be used for individual acquisitions in an image pasting examination such that the optimal dose is utilized, stitching quality is improved, and registration failures are avoided.

Methods and systems for x-ray tube conditioning

Various methods and systems are provided for x-ray tube conditioning for a computed tomography imaging method. In one embodiment, x-ray may be generated in an x-ray tube of a radiation source prior to a diagnostic scan to warmup the x-ray tube to a desired temperature for the diagnostic scan. The power delivered to the x-ray tube during warmup may be adjusted in a closed loop system based on an initial temperature of the x-ray tube and the desired temperature for the diagnostic scan. During tube warmup, by placing a blocking plate coupled to a collimator blade in a path of the x-ray beam, the x-ray beam may be blocked from exiting a collimator.
