Electronic device, method, and computer-readable medium for displaying screen in deformable display panel
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a deformable display panel, a sensor, a display driving circuit operatively coupled to the deformable display panel and the sensor, and comprising a graphical random access memory (GRAM), and a processor operatively coupled to the display driving circuit and the sensor, wherein the display driving circuit can be configured to, while the size of a displayable area of the deformable display panel is changed, store, in the GRAM, data for displaying an image of a first size received from the processor, receive, from the sensor, a signal for indicating that the size of the displayable area is a second size smaller than the first size, after the data is stored, and scan part of the data in response to the reception of the signal, thereby displaying an image of the second size through the deformable display panel.
Stretchable display panel, method for compensating threshold voltage of transistor and computer readable storage medium
A stretchable display panel, a method for compensating a threshold voltage of a transistor in the stretchable display panel, and a computer readable storage medium. The stretchable display panel includes: a base substrate; a transistor on the base substrate, the transistor includes a gate electrode layer and an active layer that are at least partially stacked; and a voltage compensation layer, the voltage compensation layer is located between the transistor and the base substrate, wherein the voltage compensation layer is applied with a compensation voltage that depends on a stretching amount of the stretchable display panel.
System and methods for aging compensation in AMOLED displays
A voltage-programmed display system allows measurement of effects on pixels in a panel that includes both active pixels and reference pixels coupled to a supply line and a programming line. The reference pixels are controlled so that they are not subject to substantial changes due to aging and operating conditions over time. A readout circuit is coupled to the active pixels and the reference pixels for reading at least one of current, voltage or charge from the pixels when they are supplied with known input signals. The readout circuit is subject to changes due to aging and operating conditions over time, but the readout values from the reference pixels are used to adjust the readout values from the active pixels to compensate for the unwanted effects.
Interactive virtual reality system
Provided herein are method, apparatus, and computer program products for generating a first and second three dimensional interactive environment. The first three dimensional interactive environment may contain one or more engageable virtual interfaces that correspond to one or more items. Upon engagement with a virtual interface the second three dimensional interactive environment is produced to virtual simulation related to the one or more items.
Pixel intensity modulation using modifying gain values
A visual perception device has a look-up table stored in a laser driver chip. The look-up table includes relational gain data to compensate for brighter areas of a laser pattern wherein pixels are located more closely than areas where the pixels are further apart and to compensate for differences in intensity of individual pixels when the intensities of pixels are altered due to design characteristics of an eye piece.
Vehicular trailer hitching assist system
A vehicular trailer hitching assist system includes a rear backup camera disposed at a rear portion of a vehicle and a control disposed in the vehicle. A display device includes a video display screen operable to display video images for viewing by a driver of the vehicle. During a hitching maneuver event undertaken by the driver to hitch a trailer hitch of the vehicle to a trailer tongue of a trailer, and while the driver of the vehicle is maneuvering the vehicle to hitch the vehicle to the trailer, the control outputs video images derived from image data captured by the rear backup camera for display by the video display screen. At least one overlay overlays the displayed video images to guide the driver during the hitching maneuver. The at least one overlay aids in guiding connection of the trailer hitch of the vehicle to the trailer tongue of the trailer.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE THAT DISPLAYS A VIRTUAL OBJECT RELATIVE TO REAL SPACE
An information processing device including a display unit, a detector, and a first control unit and a method of using same. The display unit may be a head-mounted display. The display unit is capable of providing the user with a field of view of a real space and a virtual object. The detector detects an azimuth of the display unit around at least one axis and display of the virtual object is controlled based in the detected azimuth.
Head Up Display Apparatus With a Bright Energy Efficient Backlight for a Vehicle
A head up display apparatus for a vehicle includes an imaging unit that generates a projection light beam with display content and includes a transmissive display indication layer with selectively controllable display elements distributed over an area, a matrix backlight that provides backlighting therefor and includes selectively controllable light sources distributed along the transmissive display indication layer, and a collimation array with collimators arranged between a light source and the transmissive display indication layer, and a projection panel in the beam path of the projection light beam generated by the imaging unit for reflecting the projection light beam to a user, the projection panel being arranged in the beam path such that a virtual display image is generated therebehind in the visual field of the user.
DISPLAY APPARATUS
A display apparatus including a housing; a display; a roller accommodated in the housing to rotate and roll or unroll the display; and a processor configured to in response to receiving a command to display content, control the roller to rotate and unroll the display from the housing so the display is drawn out and extended from the housing, and control the display to display an entire image of the content while simultaneously expanding a size of the entire image of the content as the display is being extended from the housing so a partial portion of the content is not blocked from being viewed as the display is drawn out and extended from the housing.
VIDEO DISPLAY DEVICE AND VIDEO DISPLAY METHOD
A video display device comprising; a display; an exercise amount detection sensor configured to detect an exercise amount of a viewer while the viewer is viewing content displayed and output sensor information; a timer that measures a viewing time; and a processor. The processor: acquires the viewing time from the timer; calculates the exercise amount of the viewer based on the sensor information acquired within a predetermined period of viewing time; compares the exercise amount with an exercise facilitation threshold for determining whether to facilitate exercise for the viewer; displays a specific object within a display area of the display when the exercise amount falls below the exercise facilitation threshold; and moves the specific object from an inside of the display area to an outside thereof in accordance with an external coordinate system expressing a position in a real space associated with a two-dimensional coordinate system in the display area.
