A system for managing multiple independent cockpit displays, comprising: first and second displays configured to receive input and display pages, the pages defined by parameters in a database; and a control system comprising a processor coupled to a memory storing the database, the processor configured to: receive a request to display a first page on the first display; retrieve a flag associated with the first page, the flag being a parameter in the database and indicating whether a page is safe or unsafe for simultaneous display and editing; retrieve group designators associated with the first page and a second page, the group designator being a parameter in the database, the group designator identifying related pages; and control display and editing of pages on the first display based on at least one of: the flag associated with the first page, and the group designators associated with the first and second pages.

Electronic paper display apparatus, signal transmission system and method thereof

An electronic paper display apparatus, a signal transmission system and a method thereof are provided. The electronic paper display apparatus is configured to transmit an encrypted signal. The electronic paper display apparatus includes an electronic paper display panel and a display driver. The electronic paper display panel is configured to display a first image or a second image. The display driver is electrically coupled to the electronic paper display panel and configured to output a driving signal to the electronic paper display panel. The display driver drives the electronic paper display panel to alternately display the first image and the second image for transmitting the encrypted signal by using the driving signal during a signal transmission period.

A circuit for fingerprint detection is disclosed. The circuit includes a transistor and a capacitor. The transistor includes a gate configured to, in response to a touch event of an object, sense a capacitance associated with the object. The capacitor, coupled between a first node and a second node, is configured to establish a voltage across the first node and the second node in response to a first control signal, and establish a compensation voltage at the first node in response to a second control signal. The transistor is configured to flow a current therethrough in response to a third control signal. The current has a magnitude independent of the threshold voltage of the transistor due to the compensation voltage.

Directional light emitters and electronic displays featuring the same

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for changing a distributed mode loudspeaker's fundamental frequency. One of the systems may include a light emitting diode display that includes an array of pixels, each pixel including, for each color of multiple colors, a directional light emitter and a wide-angle light emitter, a first combination of all the directional light emitters configured to generate a first display image viewable within a first viewing angle, and a second combination of all the wide-angle light emitters configured to generate a second display image concurrently with the generation of the first display image that is viewable within a second viewing angle. The first display image is a different image than the second display image and the first viewing angle is a narrower viewing angle than, and included within, the second viewing angle.

A head mount display and method for outputting an output of the same are discussed. The method includes outputting a first task from the head mount display, the first task including at least one of a first video output and a first audio output; recognizing a portable device, which outputs a second task including at least one of a second video output and a second audio output; determining whether the first and second video outputs are swapping targets, if the portable device is recognized; swapping the first video output with the second video output if the first and second video outputs are determined to be swapping targets; determining whether the first and second audio outputs are swapping targets, if the portable device is recognized; and swapping the first audio output with the second audio output if the first and second audio outputs are determined to be swapping targets.

Device and method for controlling display

According to various embodiments, a display control method of an electronic device includes: determining content to display to the outside of an electronic device based on contextual information associated with the electronic device; automatically configuring one region of a display functionally connected to the electronic device as a highlighted region; and displaying, through the highlighted region, at least a part of the content in a higher visibility state than the remaining region of the display except for the highlighted region in response to an input. In addition, other embodiments can be made.

Protection of confidential data being displayed or input in a mobile device

To protect confidential data, a mobile device determines whether the mobile device is at a location susceptible to visual capture of confidential data entered into the phone by external cameras. The mobile device determines whether focus of a display is on a field in which confidential data is entered. If the mobile device determines that it is at a location susceptible to an external imaging device visually capturing confidential data input into the input field, then the mobile device activate a light source on a same side as the screen presenting the display.
