DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT WHILE STREAMING TO DISPLAY ARRAY
20220329890 · 2022-10-13 ·

Aspects of the present disclosure are drawn to a digital rights management (DRM) server device for use with a stream of encoded audio/video data and an n×m array of client devices, n being a first positive integer, m being a second positive integer. Each client device being configured to display a respective display content, at least one of the n×m array of client devices being configured to play audio content. The DRM server device includes a memory and a processor configured to execute instructions stored on the memory. This causes the DRM server device to register the n×m array of client devices, establish digital rights for the registered n×m array of client device, receive the stream of encoded audio/video data, and provide the stream of encoded audio/video data to the registered n×m array of client devices based on the established digital rights.

Methods and apparatus for invoking a security feature of a computing device display in response to detecting an onlooker based on depth data

Methods and apparatus for invoking a security feature of a computing device display in response to detecting an onlooker based on depth data are disclosed. An example apparatus includes at least one memory, computer-readable instructions, and processor circuitry, The processor circuitry is to execute the computer-readable instructions to automatically invoke an onlooker detection model of a computing device in response to determining that the computing device is located in a public, unsecure environment. The onlooker detection model is to detect an onlooker based on data collected by a sensor associated with the computing device. The processor circuitry is to execute the computer-readable instructions to automatically invoke a security feature of a display of the computing device in response to detection of the onlooker.

5G zero client monitor

A monitor includes a casing with a display, a display controller disposed within the casing and that controls the display, a processor disposed within the casing that controls the display and communicates with a fifth generation (5G) network, a 5G antenna that connects the monitor to the 5G network, and a switch that switches the processor between an activated state and a deactivated state. The monitor is a zero-client system when the processor is in the activated state and a plain display when the processor is in the deactivated state.

Display managed privacy mode to present information handling system visual images

An information handling display presents visual images in a privacy mode that manages visual image brightness with a local processing resource when a predetermined condition is detected, such as multiple individuals in the display field of view. For example, an information handling system provides visual information to a display timing controller that includes a pulse width modulation signal to command display backlight brightness. When in a privacy mode, the timing controller or another processing resource modifies the pulse width modulation signal to command a predetermined reduced brightness, such as in a range of 30 to 50 nits of reduced brightness.

Display Panel and Electronic Device
20230162694 · 2023-05-25 ·

The present disclosure relates to a display panel and an electronic device. The display panel includes a driving array; first light-emitting deices electrically connected with the driving array; and second light-emitting devices located between at least two of the first light-emitting devices and electrically connected with the driving array. In a case where the first light-emitting devices are in a working state and the second light-emitting devices are in a first state, the display panel is in a first mode; and in a case where the first light-emitting devices are in a working state and the second light-emitting devices are in a second state, the display panel is in a second mode, wherein a visual angle of the display panel in the first mode is greater than 0 and smaller than a visual angle of the display panel in the second mode.

Methods, Systems, and Devices for Presenting Content Selection and Verification Presentations in a Videoconference
20230164201 · 2023-05-25 ·

A method in a conferencing system terminal device includes detecting, with one or more processors during a videoconference, a communication device electronically in communication with both a content presentation companion device having a display and one or more remote electronic devices engaged in the videoconference. User input requesting for content to be shared from the conferencing system terminal device with the one or more remote electronic devices engaged in the videoconference is received. Prior to causing the communication device to share the content with the one or more remote electronic devices during the videoconference the one or more processors present, on the display of the content presentation companion device, a content verification presentation and receive a content share confirmation in response to the content verification presentation.

GAZE-BASED WINDOW ADJUSTMENTS

In one example in accordance with the disclosure, a computing device is described. An example computing device includes a gaze tracking device. An example gaze tracking device identifies, from a captured image, a gaze region for a user viewing a display device coupled to the example computing device. The gaze region indicates a location on the display device where the user is looking. The example computing device includes a controller. An example controller determines a first window on the display device that is aligned with the gaze region and based on a determination that the first window is aligned with the gaze region, adjusts a video setting of a second window that is outside the gaze region.

INPUT SENSING DEVICE AND DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
20230114518 · 2023-04-13 ·

An input sensing device includes sensor pixels initialized in response to a reset signal provided through a reset line, and output a sensing signal to a read-out line in response to a scan signal provided through a scan line. A controller generates at least one start signal and clock signals. A selector selectively provides the at least one start signal and the clock signals to first control lines or second control lines. A reset driver connected to the first control lines, and supplying reset signals to at least some of the reset lines based on the at least one start signal and the clock signals provided through the first control lines. A scan driver is connected to the second control lines, and supplies scan signals to at least some of the scan lines based on the at least one start signal and the clock signals.

PAGE LOADING METHOD AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
20230111113 · 2023-04-13 ·

The present application discloses a page loading method and a display apparatus. While launching an application, a URL of the application, a code package, and a URL of a loading page are obtained; when the URL of the application is a target protocol URL, a loading parameter is read from the code package; the loading parameter is written into the URL of the loading page to generate a new URL of the loading page; and based on the new URL of the loading page, a loading page including display content corresponding to the loading parameter is presented on a display.

Marks for privacy display

A switchable privacy display comprises a spatial light modulator with output polariser, a reflective polariser, a polar control liquid crystal retarder and an additional polariser. The electrodes of the polar control liquid crystal retarder are patterned with a mark. In wide angle and narrow angle operational modes, the electrodes of the liquid crystal retarder are driven such that the mark is not visible. In a mark display state, the electrodes are driven to provide visibility of the mark in reflected light to an off-axis observer.
