Method of timebase management for MPEG decoding with personal video recording functionality
Disclosed are various embodiments that facilitate recording to a storage medium in a personal video recorder (PVR) system. In one embodiment, a transport stream is received. The transport stream is stored into a memory. An index table is generated that provides information for locating particular frames recorded in the memory.
VEHICLE TRIP REVIEW SYSTEM
A vehicle system is disclosed. The system may comprise an imager, a location sensor, a controller, and a display. The imager may be operable to capture a first video having a plurality of frames with field of view exterior the vehicle. The location sensor may be operable to determine the vehicle's location. The controller may be operable to associate the location of the vehicle with a plurality of the plurality of frames where the location substantially corresponds to the vehicle's location when each respective frame was captured. Additionally, the controller may be further operable to store one or more video clips, each comprising a series of frames. The display may be operable to simultaneously show one of the video clips and a map of an area substantially encompassing all the locations of the vehicle associated with the first frames included in the shown video clip.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DISPLAYING VIDEO CONTENT
A method and an electronic device for switching play between a first video content and a second video content in a web page of a browser application are provided. The method comprises: acquiring a digital document representative of the web page containing a video tag referencing a first source; establishing a first connection between a first video player and the video tag; playing, by the first video player, the first video content from the first source; in response to a trigger event: pausing the playing of the first video content; and establishing a second connection between a second video player and the video tag; playing, by the second video player, the second video content; in response to ending the playing of the second video content: re-establishing the first connection; and resuming the playing of the first video content by the first video player.
VIDEO PROCESSING APPARATUS, VIDEO PROCESSING SYSTEM AND VIDEO PROCESSING METHOD
A video processing apparatus is provided, including an audio acquisition part; a video reception part; a video transmission time reception part receiving, from a video output device, a video transmission time, which is a time at which the video received by the video reception part is transmitted from the video output device; a video processing part; a video processing completion time acquisition part acquiring a video processing completion time, which is a time at which processing performed by the video processing part is completed; a delay time calculation part calculating a delay time, which is a time difference between the video processing completion time and the video transmission time; a delayed audio creation part creating delayed audio obtained by delaying the audio acquired by the audio acquisition part by the delay time; and an output part outputting the video processed by the video processing part and the delayed audio.
METHOD OF GENERATING CINEMAGRAPH BASED ON DEEP LEARNING
A method of training a deep neural network for generating a cinemagraph is disclosed. The method may include preparing a foreground layer input by using an input video, preparing a background layer input by using the input video, providing a foreground layer output and a background layer output from the DNN by inputting, to the DNN, the foreground layer input and the background layer input, providing an output video by synthesizing the foreground layer output with the background layer output, and updating intrinsic parameters of the DNN a plurality of times, based on the input video, the foreground layer input, the foreground layer output, the background layer output, and the output video.
Elastic cloud video editing and multimedia search
Technologies for cloud-based media search and editing include a video editor configured to build a media query and associate the media query with a dynamic content slot of a media program. When generating video output based on the media program, the video editor transmits the media query to a cloud analytics server and receives 5 search results identifying one or more media clips produced by a number of mobile computing devices. The video editor may display a list of clips for selection by the user or may automatically include one of the clips in the output. The cloud analytics server transmits an acceptance policy defining criteria for acceptable media, based on the media query, to the mobile computing devices. The mobile computing devices configure 10 capture settings according to the acceptance policy and may display a user interface to assist the user in capturing acceptable media. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
User interface for syncronizing audio with video data
A method for recording voice samples for video rendered on an electronic device including a display unit and a microphone. The video includes image data and voice data, and the voice data has one or more time intervals when the voice data is to be rendered with corresponding image data. The method is executed by a processor of the electronic device and includes displaying on the GUI a videoplayer element and a graphical or progress element representing progress of the video, the progress element including one or more selectable elements, each being associated to a time interval of the voice data and positioned on the progress element according to the time interval. When a user selection is received on a first selectable element, the microphone records sound data while the video player element is simulataneously played. The image data corresponds to the time interval associated to the first selectable element.
Gallery of videos set to an audio time line
A machine includes a processor and a memory connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions executed by the processor to receive a message with audio content and video content. Audio fingerprints within the audio content are evaluated. The audio fingerprints are matched to known audio fingerprints to establish matched audio fingerprints. A determination is made whether the matched audio fingerprints correspond to a designated gallery constructed to receive a sequence of videos set to an audio time line. The matched audio fingerprints and corresponding video content are added to the audio time line. The operations are repeated until the audio time line is populated with corresponding video content to form a completed gallery with video segments set to audio segments that constitute a complete audio time line. The completed gallery is supplied in response to a request.
