A first traction winding is wound around the first higher-voltage partial winding and a second traction winding is wound around the second higher-voltage partial winding. A first DC voltage winding may be wound around the first traction winding and a second DC voltage winding may be wound around the second traction winding.

IRON NITRIDE MAGNETIC MATERIAL INCLUDING COATED NANOPARTICLES

The disclosure describes techniques for forming nanoparticles including Fe.sub.16N.sub.2 phase. In some examples, the nanoparticles may be formed by first forming nanoparticles including iron, nitrogen, and at least one of carbon or boron. The carbon or boron may be incorporated into the nanoparticles such that the iron, nitrogen, and at least one of carbon or boron are mixed. Alternatively, the at least one of carbon or boron may be coated on a surface of a nanoparticle including iron and nitrogen. The nanoparticle including iron, nitrogen, and at least one of carbon or boron then may be annealed to form at least one phase domain including at least one of Fe.sub.16N.sub.2, Fe.sub.16(NB).sub.2, Fe.sub.16(NC).sub.2, or Fe.sub.16(NCB).sub.2.

The invention relates to a method for producing an adjusted nanoparticle composition comprising ultra-small superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles coated with dextran-T10, compositions obtained thereby, and uses of such compositions. The adjusted compositions have improved parameters such as lower batch-to-batch variance and improved stability, and are useful as magnetic imaging agents.

Magnetic Inductor and Production Method

A magnetic inductor for heating parts by means of induction having a geometry with a density greater than or equal to 99.9% (absence of pores), produced by a plurality of welded layers formed by metal dust particles of a conductive, non-magnetic material (such as, inter alia, copper, tin, aluminium, gold, or silver), preferably copper or a copper-based alloy, having a spherical shape and a grain size between 40 and 100 μm, and in a single-piece part including electrical and mechanical connections. Also, a method for producing the magnetic inductor with EBM technology (electron beam melting/production technology based on electron beam fusion), using a system comprising an electron gun, a vacuum chamber, a working chamber and a manipulation system.

Radiofrequency and other electronic devices formed from enhanced resonant frequency hexaferrite materials

Radiofrequency and other electronic devices can be formed from textured hexaferrite materials, such as Z-phase barium cobalt ferrite Ba.sub.3Co.sub.2Fe.sub.24O.sub.41 (Co.sub.2Z) having enhanced resonant frequency. The textured hexaferrite material can be formed by sintering fine grain hexaferrite powder at a lower temperature than conventional firing temperatures to inhibit reduction of iron. The textured hexaferrite material can be used in radiofrequency devices such as circulators or telecommunications systems.
