Method for analyzing an image of a dental arch
A method for analyzing an image, called analysis image, of a dental arch of a patient. The analysis image is submitted to a deep learning device in order to determine at least one value of a tooth attribute relating to a tooth represented on the analysis image, and/or at least one value of an image attribute relating to the analysis image.
Treatment methods for medical and dental implants, periodontal diseases and medical procedures
Dental and medical treatments and methods, including treating gum disease, using peroxide gel and a viscous antimicrobial including a topical antibacterial agent, a topical antiviral agent, a topical antibiotic, a topical antifungal agent, a topical antiseptic agent, or a topical anti-intermicrobial agent to chemically debride and curettage a treatment area. Treatments and methods include non-surgically scaling and root plaining the treatment area with dental tools such as periodontal scalers and/or curettes during the active period of the chemical debridement. The working surfaces of dental and medical tools can be sharpened for optimal root and tooth surfacing during treatment. Treatment can include instructions for co-therapy by or on behalf of treatment subjects between visits and for maintenance care.

Implant surgery guiding method
The present disclosure provides an implant surgery guiding method of guiding a position, direction and depth of a fixture to a dentist by real-time images. The implant surgery guiding method includes: (a) generating a 3D oral cavity image for a patient; (b) designing a target placement including a target position and a target orientation of a fixture based in the 3D oral cavity image; (c) attaching an oral marker comprising a first pattern to a jawbone or a surrounding body portion of the patient, determining a spatial relationship between the oral marker and the jawbone, attaching a handpiece marker comprising a second pattern on a handpiece of a dentist, and determining a spatial relationship between the handpiece marker and the handpiece; and (d) estimating positions and orientations of the jawbone and the handpiece based on changes in positions and orientations of the oral marker and the handpiece marker while tracking the motions of the oral marker and the handpiece marker, and displaying a jawbone image portion and a handpiece image portion on a screen reflecting real-time changes in the positions and orientations of the jawbone and the handpiece.
HAND TOOL
A hand tool apparatus is disclosed as providing an elongate, adaptive ergonomic handle portion. In at least one embodiment, the handle portion provides a pair of opposing handle ends. At least one of the handle ends provides an instrument portion. An at least one bendable core is positioned between the handle ends, the at least one core capable of being selectively bent into a variety of desired shape configurations, and substantially maintaining those shape configurations until the core is intentionally bent into a different desired shape configuration. As a result, the handle portion is capable of ergonomically conforming to a hand of a user while shifting a weight, as well as instrumentation forces and fulcrum of the apparatus and encouraging proper positioning of the instrument portion during use of the apparatus, regardless of the specific procedure to be performed using the apparatus.
Medical or dental instrument having an RFID memory tag
A medical or dental instrument having a metal instrument component and an RFID memory tag having a memory chip for storing data, wherein the RFID memory tag is attached to the medical or dental instrument such that the RFID memory tag is electrically connected to the metal instrument component such that the metal instrument component forms an antenna for the RFID memory tag for wireless energy and/or data transfer. An electrically conductive coupling element electrically connects the RFID memory tag to the metal instrument component forming an antenna, the electrically conductive coupling element having a planar first coupling surface on which the RFID memory tag is arranged and a second coupling surface arranged on the metal instrument component forming the antenna. A method for manufacturing or retrofitting a corresponding medical or dental instrument is also described.
