Keycaps having reduced thickness
An illuminated glass keycap having a glyph diffuser layer that may diffuse light through a glyph window opened in a background layer. The background layer may be opaque and the glyph window may be transparent. The keycap is adhered to a scissor mechanism positioned above electrical switch circuitry. Included within, below, or adjacent to the scissor mechanism may be one or more light sources positioned to emit light through the keycap, around the perimeter of the keycap, and/or through the background layer.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A SWITCHING APPARATUS FOR ELECTRIC SYSTEMS
The present disclosure is directed to a for manufacturing a switching apparatus for electric systems. The method includes (i) providing a first housing shell of the switching apparatus; (ii) providing a second housing shell of the switching apparatus; (iii) assembling the first and second housing shells and a number of operating components of the switching apparatus, thereby obtaining a preliminary assembly of the switching apparatus; and (iv) joining first and second coupling edges of the first and second housing shells through a vibration welding process, thereby forming a junction between the first and second housing shells and obtaining a sealed outer casing for the switching apparatus.
ATTACHING AN ISOLATED SINGLE STUD FUSE TO AN ELECTRICAL DEVICE
An electrical device assembly and method to attach an isolated single stud fuse assembly to an electrical device are disclosed. The electrical device assembly consists of multiple studs, one or more of which is replaced with the isolated single stud fuse. A conductive copper landing zone receives an electrically isolated steel stud. When the landing pad assembly is orbital riveted into a plastic housing of the electrical device, the stud is locked into the housing permanently. Electrical devices such as disconnect switches and power distribution modules, both of which include multiple studs, are good candidates for being adapted with the single stud fuse assembly.

LC distributed matching for equalized cross-switch RF performance
A method of manufacturing an RF switch includes adding a first mutual inductance portion to a first self-inductance portion of a first transmission line; and adding a second mutual inductance portion to a second self-inductance portion of a second transmission line, wherein values of the first and second mutual inductance portions and values of the first and second self-inductance portions equalize an impedance difference between the first transmission line and the second transmission line.

CIRCUIT BREAKING APPARATUS
A circuit breaking apparatus comprises a circuit breaker, a motor drive system, and a controller. The circuit breaker is electrically connectable to a power line. The motor drive system is mechanically coupled to the circuit breaker and configured to operate the circuit breaker such as to perform a movement including at least an opening movement from a closed position to an open position, thereby electrically interrupting the power line. The controller includes a model of at least one of the motor drive system and the circuit breaker.
The controller is configured to receive reference travel curve information of the movement; generate actuator information from the reference travel curve information based on the model; and output the actuator information.
BEND WEB DESIGN FOR REED SWITCHES
A reed switch including a cylindrical enclosure with two ends, a first blade and a second blade is disclosed. The first blade has a first lead, a first web, and a first contact, and the first web is bent at a first angle as compared to the first lead. The second blade has a second lead, a second web, and a second contact, and the second web is bent at a second angle as compared to the second lead. The first contact is disposed adjacent to the second contact with a gap between them.
