Side key and electronic device including the same
An electronic device includes an outer housing including a first surface, a second surface, and a side surface, a printed circuit board seated in the outer housing, and at least one side key coupled to a peripheral area of the outer housing. The side key includes at least one contact part exposed through a through-hole formed in the side surface of the outer housing, a side key circuit board including a switch module that contacts the contact part when the contact part is pressed, the side key circuit board being electrically connected to the printed circuit board, a side key bracket in which at least a portion of the side key circuit board is seated and which fixes and supports the side key circuit board, and one or more molded members that are coupled to opposite ends of the side key bracket and are coupled to the outer housing.
Input device having an operation knob
An input device has operation shafts whose tips project through a first elongate hole and a second elongate hole formed through an upper plate portion of a case main body and that are movable along the upper plate portion of the case main body. An operation knob is movably attached to the tips of the operation shafts. The case main body is provided with elastic support pieces that deform following the movement of the operation knob and elastically support the operation knob.

An operation knob is movably attached to the tips of the operation shafts. The case main body is provided with elastic support pieces that deform following the movement of the operation knob and elastically support the operation knob.
SLIDE SWITCH
A slide switch includes a housing, two guiding slots, a slider, a push button, a first switch, a second switch, a third switch and two stopping blocks. Two middles of two inner surfaces of the housing protrude inward to form two supporting portions. A horizontal sliding path is formed among the two guiding slots and the two supporting portions. The slider is mounted between the two guiding slots. The push button is perpendicularly mounted to the slider. The first switch is positioned to one side of the sliding path. The second switch is positioned to the other side of the sliding path. The third switch is positioned to a center of the sliding path. The two stopping blocks are positioned at two opposite sides of the sliding path, respectively.
SLIDE SWITCH
A slide switch includes a circuit board assembly, a sensing element and a slider member. The circuit board assembly has an opening. The sensing element is installed on the circuit board assembly and electrically connected with the circuit board assembly. The slider member is movably connected with the circuit board assembly. The slider member is movable along the circuit board assembly. The slider member includes a slider plate and a supporting post. The supporting post is protruded from the slider plate. The slider plate includes a pressing part for pressing the sensing element. The supporting post is movable to a position within the opening. Consequently, the layout space of the slide switch is saved.
Switch
Provided is a switch that can reliably bring contacts into contact with each other with a small load, and can be prevented from malfunctioning. A switch is provided with a plunger, a lower torsion spring in which a biasing direction changes according to the movement of the plunger. The lower torsion spring biases the plunger in an opposite direction to a returning direction when the plunger is in the operation position, and biases the plunger in a direction different from the opposite direction to the returning direction when the plunger is in the reference position.
In-line slide switch
An in-line slide dimming switch includes a switch and dimming circuit installed on a printed circuit board (which is installed in the in-line slide dimming switch) and operated with a dimmable energy-saving fluorescent bulb and a dimmable LED bulb, so that the in-line slide dimming switch may adjust the light emitting brightness of the dimmable energy-saving fluorescent bulb and the dimmable LED bulb installed onto a lamp holder. With the wire holders installed at both ends, a power cable is installed conveniently to achieve the effects of shortening the assembling procedure, and improving the assembling efficiency and the market competitiveness.
Multifunction key and electronic device with multifunction key
A multifunction key includes a key member, a conductive member, and a circuit baseboard. A portion of the key member extends out from a shell of an electronic device; the conductive member is fixed on a bottom of the key member. The conductive member includes a first protrusion member and a second protrusion member. One surface of the circuit baseboard includes a conductive layer and a resistance layer respectively contacting the first and the second protrusion member. Another surface of the circuit baseboard includes a first and second conductive terminal respectively connected to the conductive layer and the resistance layer. The conductive layer, resistance layer, first and second conductive terminal, conductive member, and an internal circuit of the electronic device form a circuit loop. When the key member moves, a resistance value of the resistance layer within in the circuit loop is changed and produces a corresponding key command.
