Electrical arc protection using a trip jumper
A plug comprises power contacts and a trip jumper having jumper contacts configured to make a trip connection, during a plugging action with the plug and a receptacle, with mating trip contacts in the receptacle. When the receptacle is connected to electrical power during the plugging action, a current over the trip connection can cause disconnection of a receptacle power contact from the power. A receptacle comprises receptacle power contacts and a trip circuit having receptacle trip contacts configured to make a trip connection, during a plugging action with the receptacle and plug, with mating trip contacts in the plug. When the receptacle is connected to electrical power during the plugging action, a current over the trip connection can cause disconnection of power to a receptacle power contact. A system can have an electrical device with a line cord connected to the plug.
Cushion-mounted electrical outlets
A cushion-mountable electrical outlet system for furniture includes a generally flat body having a lower portion that is positionable beneath a cushion of a furniture article. The flat body has an upper portion configured to be positioned along a side edge of the cushion, and an electrical outlet assembly mounted at the upper portion of the flat body. The electrical outlet assembly is positionable so as to be accessible to a user on the cushion. The flat body is plastically deformable so that the lower portion can be angled obliquely relative to the upper portion.
Wire harness and wire harness production method
In order to provide a technique for obtaining a wire harness with a shape closer to that when arranged in a vehicle, a wire harness in which three or more branch line portions branch from a trunk line portion and end portions of the branch line portions are respectively provided with connectors, includes: a holding member that holds the branch line portions such that a connector is positioned away from one of the three or more connectors in a first direction that is orthogonal to a terminal insertion direction and a connector is positioned away from that one connector in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction, when the trunk line portion is held such that the connectors are suspended.

Electrical connector for a twisted pair cable
It is aimed to prevent a noise reduction function of a twisted pair cable from being reduced near the entrances of cavities. A connector (CO) includes a twisted pair cable formed by twisting a pair of wires, female terminals (9A, 9B) connected to respective ends of both wires (W) of the twisted pair cable, a housing (15) formed with cavities (18) for individually accommodating the female terminals (9A, 9B), and a locking lance (13) deflectably arranged in the housing (15) and capable of locking the female terminals (9A, 9B). A pair of the female terminals (9A, 9B) connected to the both wires (W) of the twisted pair cable are accommodated into the cavities (18) adjacent in a Y direction and the locking lance (13) integrally and interlockably formed to straddle between the adjacent cavities (18) is formed in the adjacent cavities (18).
Method and apparatus for integrating control systems
A method and apparatus for migrating a first control system to a second control system. The method includes receiving a first plurality of signals from an element of a first control system, segregating the first plurality of signals into individual signals, and outputting the individual signals as a second plurality of signals to a second control system. The apparatus includes an input module configured to receive a first plurality of signals from an element of a first control system and segregate the first plurality of signals into individual signals, an isolation module, and an output module configured to receive the individual signals and output the individual signals as a second plurality of signals to a second control system.
Connector, light source module including the connector, and light source module array including the light source module
A connector, a light source module including the connector, and a light source module array including the light source module array are provided. The connector includes a first connection part configured to connect to a first wire inserted thereto; a second connection part configured to connect to a second wire inserted thereto, the first and second connection parts being disposed to face in opposite directions; a housing covering the first and second connection parts; and a push button configured to be actuated by an external force applied thereto to release a connection of the first connection part to the first wire and a connection of the second connection part to the second wire.
Cabling system and method for connecting electronic printed circuit boards
A cabling system and method for connecting, to a plurality of electronic printed circuit boards, a common electrical cable, a grounding cable, and respective electrical board wires, or power supply cables. The system comprises a bundle of electrical cables, and a plurality of multipolar, insulation-piercing connectors placed in succession along said bundle of cables. Each of the connectors is suitable to receive the common electrical cable, the board cable to be connected to the respective electronic board, and the board cables that must be connected to the successive connectors, and is suitable to transmit to a successive insulation-piercing connector, the common electrical cable and the board cables that must be connected to the successive connectors.
Ethernet cable connector
An Ethernet cable assembly including a cable with nine elongated conductors, a first connector and a second connector located on opposing ends of the cable, and a coupler for electrically coupling with one or both of the connectors. The connectors may each include nine pin receptacles electrically coupled with one of the elongated conductors. The nine receptacles may be arranged with one center receptacle surrounded by eight outer receptacles, symmetrically arranged about a line of symmetry passing through the center receptacle, such that when identical first or second connectors of another cable faces one of the first and second connectors, complementary crossover pairs of the receptacles match up with positive receptacles matching positive receptacles and negative receptacles matching negative receptacles. To couple these identical Ethernet connectors with each other, the coupler may have pins simply passing from one side of the coupler housing to another, without any crossover hardware required therein.
