A card connector is provided for receiving an inserted card module. The card connector includes a housing including a terminal holding portion for arranging terminals to make contact with electrode pads on the card module. Each terminal includes a base portion held by the terminal holding portion and a cantilevered arm portion extending from the base portion in an inclined direction relative to the transverse direction of the housing. Each arm portion includes a curved portion and a pair of inclined portions. The curved portion has a curved profile with a curved surface positioned so the center of curvature is positioned above. The inclined portions are inclined relative to the extension direction of the arm portion on both sides of the apex portion positioned at the free end. The inclined portions each have a different angle of inclination relative to the extension direction of the arm portion.

Linking cable connector

Linking cable connector includes a lead frame held in an interior cavity of a cover. The lead frame includes conductive leads arranged side by side in a row and extending between a first end and an opposite second end of the lead frame. At least some adjacent conductive leads are spaced on a first lead pitch at the first end, and are spaced on a second lead pitch at the second end. The second lead pitch is less than the first lead pitch. The conductive leads engage and electrically connect to corresponding wire conductors of a first cable harness at the first end of the lead frame, and the conductive leads engage and electrically connect to corresponding wire conductors of a second cable harness at the second end of the lead frame such that the leads provide conductive paths between the first and second cable harnesses.

The first socket member includes a conductive sleeve comprising a top portion, a bottom portion, and a plurality of springs connecting the top portion and the bottom portion. The connector also includes a second socket member. The second socket member includes a second matching hole configured to match to a second conductive pin of a second plug member, and a conductive body having outer threads configured to match to inner threads of the second plug member. The connector further includes a middle portion connected between the first socket member and the second socket member, the middle portion extending radically outwardly from a periphery of the middle portion.

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a number of first contacts and second contacts, an insulator inset-molded with the first contacts, a metallic shielding plate retained in the insulative housing, and a shielding shell attached to the insulative housing. The housing has a base portion defining a receiving cavity located at a back-end thereof and extending forwardly and a tongue portion extending forwardly from the base portion. The tongue portion defines a first surface carrying the first contacts and a second surface located oppositely and a number of terminal-receiving slots located at the first surface and the second surface and communicated with receiving cavity. The second contacts are inserted into terminal-receiving slots located at the second surface. The insulator is received in the receiving cavity to insert the first contacts into the terminal-receiving slots located at the first surface.

The first spacing rib extends between the positioning portions of the adjacent signal terminals, the second spacing rib extends between the positioning portion of the signal terminal and the positioning portion of the adjacent ground terminal and the first spacing rib is longer than the second spacing rib.

Power connector having a housing with a T-shaped tongue and each terminal with parallel and separated contact portions

A power connector is disclosed in this invention, including an insulating housing and at least one pair of power terminals. The insulating housing includes a T-type tongue plate, which has a flange, multiple grooves formed on two opposite surfaces of the tongue plate, and multiple ribs separating the grooves. Each power terminal includes a retaining plate, multiple parallel and separated contact portions mounted into the corresponding grooves and multiple parallel and separated mounting portions. The power terminal of the present invention can realize the power distribution and improve the heat dissipation performance of the power terminal by disposing these contact portions and defining heat-dissipating channels between these contact portions.

Electrical contact or electrical connector having the electrical contact. The electrical contact has a mating segment that is configured to engage another contact and has a contact end and a contact surface. The contact surface includes a mating zone that is located a distance from the contact end. The mating zone is configured to intimately engage the other contact for electrical communication between the electrical contact and the other contact. The mating segment has a stub portion that extends between the contact end and the mating zone. At least a portion of the contact surface along the stub portion has a textured area that is more textured than the contact surface at the mating zone. The textured area is configured to dampen reflected energy that propagates between the mating zone and the contact end.

A card connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of contacts received in the insulative housing and a metallic cover covering the insulative housing. The contact includes a retaining portion, an extending portion horizontally and forwardly extending from the retaining portion, a connecting portion downwardly and forwardly aslant extending from the extending portion, a floating portion downwardly from the connecting portion and a contacting portion further downwardly extending from the floating portion. There are two bending points on linking portions of the connecting portion connecting with the floating portion and the extending portion, respectively. By such arrangement, when the electrical card is inserted, the contact can rotate about the two bending points in turn, that can improve an elasticity of the contact.
