A power rotating transfer coupler is disclosed for use within a retractable shade system of the type operatively deployed upon a rotating roller member transversely disposed within a framework and mounted in connection with a boat, recreational vehicle or other stationary structure. Adapted for mounted attachment to the end of the roller member intermediate of the roller member and the adjacent framework, the power transfer coupler comprises a contact ring assembly set immediately adjacent to the roller member having separate continuous ring members of different diameter concentrically disposed each with a separate power wire attached thereto, a contact pin assembly having separate spring-loaded contact pins each connected to a lead wire and fitted within a cylindrical housing in a respective position to make contact with a respective one of the ring members, and a compression spring centrally positioned and set against of the end of the housing for constant tensioning of the housing against the contact ring assembly so that an uninterrupted electrical connection with the respective contact rings is maintained throughout relative motion of the roller member during operational deployment of the shade system.

Rotary connector device

The present invention provides a rotary connector device that enables relative rotation between the rotator and the stator to be easily and reliably fixed at a neutral position even when a steering device is disengaged. A rotary connector device (1) according to the present invention is provided with: a self-rotation pin (50) that is self-rotatable with respect to a sleeve (30) and that is provided with a pin-side notch (521) that restricts the self-rotation by coming into contact with an inner circumferential surface of a stator-side inner-circumferential cylindrical portion (23); a stationary-side gear (231) and a self-rotation-side gear (511) that transmit the relative rotation and the self-rotation in an interlocked manner; and a stationary-side switching mechanism (40) and a pin protrusion (52) that switch, in a neutral position, the self-rotation pin (50) from a released state to a restricted state.

A housing and a power cable for supplying power to components within the housing wherein the power cable is attached to the appliance via a rotatable connection, the rotatable connection comprising a male connector having two longitudinally spaced connectors separated by a separator and a female connector comprising two longitudinally spaced receptacles. The two longitudinally spaced receptacles may be substantially identical and may be shaped to receive the longitudinally spaced connectors and may have a base portion and two upstanding portions forming a U-shape. The two upstanding portions may have a first straight section that extends from the base portion and may have a second section which extends from the first section and is adapted to receive a longitudinally spaced connector and may have a third section which extends from the second section and provides an opening into which a longitudinally spaced connector can be inserted.

SURGICAL SHAFT ASSEMBLIES WITH SLIP RING ASSEMBLIES WITH INCREASED CONTACT PRESSURE

A slip ring assembly is usable with a surgical shaft assembly. The slip ring assembly includes a first connector flange comprising a conductor. The slip ring assembly further includes a second connector flange comprising a conductive element in contact with the conductor, wherein the second connector flange is rotatable relative to the first connector flange. In addition, the slip ring assembly also includes a support member, wherein the second connector flange is sandwiched between the first connector flange and the support member, and wherein the support member is configured to apply a load onto the second connector flange to maintain the contact between the conductor and the conductive element.
