SMART SWITCHING CHARGER AND POWER CONNECTION DEVICE THEREOF
A smart switching charger and a power connection device thereof are disclosed. The smart switching charger includes a socket a plug and a DC power line. The socket is mounted to a power device to acquire electricity therefrom and includes a first contact group. The plug includes a second contact group corresponding to the first contact group. At least one of the first and second contact groups is magnetic to the first contact group attracting to the second contact group. When the first contact group attracts to the second contact group, the plug acquires electricity from the socket. The DC power line connects with the plug for transmitting electricity to electrical devices. Such configuration may obtain a reliable electrical connection between the socket and the plug through magnetic adsorption. A simple and convenient operation of connecting the socket and the plug is obtained, and lifespan of the charger is improved.
Novel connective device
An apparatus that is used to enclose and stack electrical components in varying configurations. The configurations are achieved by easily manipulating the way the apparatus is stacked. The stacking of apparatus' is achieved easily, and with little cost in manufacturing.
Automatic switching interface box for generator
An automatic switching interface box for generators in residential dwellings and small commercial applications provides a breaker box transfer switch for generators powering one or more electrical loads. In power blackout situations, the breaker box transfer switch uses a power control relay to keep the load power on, which eliminates the need for a hot generator plug, because the plug in box is not powered. The generator power output cord is plugged onto the male plug of the interface box, or hard wired thereto. If the auxiliary generator had been started and is at rated voltage, the load is immediately and automatically switched from the utility connection to the generator as electrical source. The relay keeps the prongs of the male plug safely unpowered until the generator is attached since the relay coil is powered by the generator output and the plug is connected to the normally open contacts.
Electrical Plug-Type Connector Part
An electrical plug-type connector part includes a contact carrier, a protective housing, and a clamping bracket. The contact carrier has chambers for receiving contact elements connected to electrical connection lines. The protective housing is engaged over the contact carrier and has passage openings receiving the electrical connection lines. The clamping bracket is attachable to the protective housing and has elastic spring arms corresponding to the passage openings in the protective housing. When the clamping bracket is attached to the protective housing the spring arms extend into the passage openings and resiliently press the electrical connection lines received in the passage openings against an inner wall of the protective housing for the clamping bracket to thereby fix the electrical connection lines to the protective housing in a clamping manner.
MODULAR ELECTRONIC BUILDING SYSTEMS WITH MAGNETIC INTERCONNECTIONS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Electrical connectors, electrical modules, and systems are provided. In one aspect, an electrical connector includes a housing defining a side surface, an electrical conductor supported by the housing and including an engagement portion proximate the side surface of the housing. The engagement portion is adapted to engage another electrical conductor of another electrical connector. The connector also includes a magnet supported by the housing proximate the side surface of the housing, a projection extending from the side surface of the housing, and a receptacle defined in the side surface of the housing. In other aspects, an electrical module includes at least one of these electrical connectors. In further aspects, a system includes a plurality of these modules and the modules are selectively couplable together.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a connector main body having a wall portion and a shaft portion protruding from the wall portion; a pair of terminals which is relatively rotatable around the shaft portion and interposes a terminal of a counterpart connector; a torsion spring which has a coil, and a pair of arms protruding outward in a radial direction from the coil, is disposed between the pair of terminals in a state in which the shaft portion is inserted through the coil, and urges the pair of terminals in a rotational direction by the pair of arms; and guide portions which are provided in the connector main body, abut against the pair of arms when the torsion spring is pushed toward a proximal end side of the shaft portion, and guides the torsion spring between the pair of terminals, while elastically deforming the torsion spring.
Multi-contact connector for an audio jack assembly
Disclosed is a stereo audio jack assembly that reduces or eliminates signal loss with an audio plug. The jack assembly employs a support housing having a passageway sized to receive the audio plug with an insulated first connector having first and second terminal strips, each formed integral to a first disk base and positioned to engage the grooved tip of an audio plug when engaged. A second isolated connector includes a terminal strip positioned to engage one side of an audio plug sleeve when engaged. And a third isolated connector includes a terminal strip positioned to engage another side of an audio plug sleeve when engaged to allow for a stereo connection by having distinct contacts.
Push wire connector having a rotatable release member
An electrical connector includes a housing and a conductive contact member disposed in the housing. A first contact portion of the conductive contact member receives a blade contact of an electrical device and a second contact portion electrically engages an inserted electrical wire. A spring member is disposed in the housing and is connected to the contact member. A rotatable member is movable between first and second positions. When the rotatable member is in the second position the spring member secures an inserted wire in electrical engagement with the conductive contact member and prevents removal of the inserted wire. When the rotatable member is in the first position the spring member allows for removal of an inserted wire and allows for insertion of a wire in the housing.
Module for a high-current plug and/or a high-current cable, high-current plug, and method of influencing the EMC behaviour
A module for a high-current plug and/or a high-current cable includes a coupling face coupling to a shield and an influencing device influencing an electromagnetic property of the shield.
Mining cable coupler connectors and related assemblies and methods
A connector assembly for use with a mining cable coupler includes a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a front portion including a plug and a rear portion including a barrel configured to receive a first conductor. The second connector includes a front portion including a socket having a channel defined therein and a rear portion including a barrel configured to receive a second conductor. An annular groove is defined in an inner surface of the channel. An annular spring held in the annular groove. The channel is sized and configured to receive the plug such that the plug resiliently contacts the spring to electrically connect the first conductor received in the first connector barrel and the second conductor received in the second connector barrel.
