On-board power supply system and on-board control apparatus

An on-board control apparatus includes: a controller connected to a controlled device mounted in a vehicle via a signal line and configured to control the operation of the corresponding controlled device; and a power source box connected to a power source mounted in the vehicle via a power line, that is connected to the controlled device mounted in the vehicle via a power line, and configured to switch between supply and non-supply of power from the power source to the controlled device, wherein the power source box includes; a switch disposed in a power supply path from the power source to the controlled device; a reception unit configured to receive an input of the switching command; and a switching control unit configured to switch between conduction and interruption of the switch in response to the switching command received by the reception unit.

Power supply system

A power supply system includes an electric storage device, a connecting terminal area, a main energization line, a sub-energization line, a first energization switching unit for switching between an energized state and a non-energized state of an energization line of the main energization line connecting the electric storage device and a loading apparatus, a second energization switching unit for switching between an energized state and a non-energized state of an energization line of the main energization line connecting a branched part and the connecting terminal area, a third energization switching unit for switching between an energized state and a non-energized state of an energization line of the main energization line connecting the second energization switching unit and the connecting terminal area, and a control device that detects switching states of the first, second and third energization switching units and that controls their switching operations.

Ladder rung bracket assembly

A bracket assembly is disclosed to secure a cable bundle to a ladder rung. The bracket assembly includes a metal bracket and protective grommets. The metal bracket has a first member, side walls and second members. The first member of the metal bracket is parallel to the second members of the metal bracket. The protective grommets are secured to the metal bracket. The protective grommets have a base member, sleeves extending from the base member, a side member and a bottom member. The assembled metal bracket and protective grommets receive the ladder rung and the sleeves of the protective grommets wrap around the cable bundle positioned on the ladder rung to secure the cable bundle.

Systems and methods for powering electric vehicles using a single or multiple power cells

Electric vehicles such as scooters can have a first operating mode in which energy is supplied by a single electrical energy storage device and a second operating mode in which energy is supplied by multiple electrical energy storage devices. A circuit element can be included in the circuit connecting the electrical energy storage devices to a prime mover such as a traction motor. The circuit element has a first, electrically conductive, state that couples only the single electrical energy storage device to a traction motor and a second, electrically non-conductive, state that couples the multiple electrical energy storage devices to the prime mover. The transition of the circuit element from the first state to the second state can occur by irreversibly fracturing the circuit element upon installation of multiple electrical energy storage devices or by a controller transitioning the circuit element from the first state to the second state.
