The method includes: opening each of the electrical connections; selecting at least one wind turbine of the plurality of wind turbines according to a criteria where a sum of value for active power supply that is available from the selected at least one generator is equal or above a sum of values for active power consumption that is consumable by the energy storage system of the selected at least one wind turbine, the auxiliary equipment of the selected at least one wind turbine and the substation level auxiliary equipment; activating the selected wind turbine; for the selected wind turbine: electrically connecting the power input of its converter to the power output of its generator, electrically connecting the power output of its converter to the power input of its auxiliary equipment, the power input of its energy storage system and the corresponding cable, and electrically connecting the power input of a substation level auxiliary equipment to the cable which is electrically connected to the selected wind turbine; the activated wind turbine acting as active power supply for the substation level auxiliary equipment. The method and the control system using the same provide an effective and economic way of using the power generated by the wind turbine generator for powering the auxiliary equipment of the wind turbine, charging the energy storage system of the wind turbine and powering the substation level auxiliary equipment, during the wind farm operates in an islanding mode.
FAULT-TOLERANT POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS FOR A MODULAR POWER PLANT
Fault-tolerant power distribution systems for modular power plants are discussed. The systems enable the transmission of a portion of the power generated by a modular power plant to remote consumers. The systems also enable the local distribution of another portion of the generated power within the power plant. The various fault-tolerant systems enable the plant to continuously, and without degradation or disruption, transmit power to remote consumers and distribute power within in the power plant in the event of one or more faults within the distribution system. The various embodiments include redundant power-transmission paths, power-distribution module feeds, switchgear, and other hardware components. Such redundant transmission paths and hardware enable the systems to continuously, and without degradation or disruption, transmit power to remote consumers and locally distribute power to the power plant when one or more faults occur within one or more of the redundant power-transmission paths and/or hardware components.

System and Method For Operating A Wind Turbine
The present subject matter is directed to a wind turbine electrical power configured to minimize power losses. The power system includes a generator having a generator stator and a generator rotor, a power converter electrically coupled to the generator, a main transformer electrically coupled to the power converter and the power grid, and an auxiliary transformer. More specifically, the main transformer is connected to the power grid via a voltage line comprising a voltage switch gear. Thus, the auxiliary transformer is connected directly to the voltage line, i.e. rather than being connected to the grid through the main transformer.

CONTROLLER SYSTEM FOR SOLAR TRACKING
A control system for a single-axis solar tracking system includes a controller that communicates control signals. An alternating current (AC) powerline is connected to the controller. The AC powerline supplies power control for one or more solar tracker drive motors and propagates the control signals to the one or more solar tracker drive motors.
Information Handling System Reversible Charge Port and Magnetic Charge Connector
An information handling system receives power from a reversible power cable by selectively configuring outer pins to provide power or communication with a middle pin providing ground. A power manager of an information handling system embedded controller uses a low level of power input to determine which outer pin provides power and which provides communication, and then configures the connector to route power at a high level to the system charger for powering the information handling system.
