Low loss shunt regulator
A direct-current (DC) power generation system for a vehicle, a boosting shunt regulator, and a method of regulating the output of an AC generator with the boosting shunt regulator are provided. The boosting shunt regulator includes gated power switches electrically coupled between AC generator contacts and output contacts. A shunt operates the power switches at duty cycles selected to boost the AC voltages output by the AC generator.
Ground fault minimization
A circuit for minimizing energy provided to a ground fault includes a source, a multiple switches, an output filter, and a controller. The switches include a first side pair of switches and a second side pair of switches configured to provide an output signal based on the source. The output filter includes one or more energy storage elements coupled to the first side pair of switches or the second side pair of switches. The controller is configured to receive a ground fault signal that indicates a fault has occurred and configured to generate a switch signal for the switches for a minimum energy state of the output filter and in response to the ground fault signal.
Power conversion system and power storage system
A power conversion system includes a housing (outer housing) and a power converter. The power converter is arranged in an internal space of the housing. An outer peripheral surface of the housing is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet. The air outlet communicates with the air inlet via the internal space of the housing and is located below the air inlet.

Disclosed are an electric control assembly and an electrical device. The electric control assembly includes an electric control board and a metal plate arranged on one side of the electric control board in parallel. The electric control board includes a first filter circuit and a power supply line. The power supply line includes a power input terminal, a rectifier circuit, an intelligent power module and a power output terminal. The power input terminal, the rectifier circuit, the intelligent power module and the power output terminal are connected in sequence. A first end of the first filter circuit is connected with the power supply line. The metal plate and the electric control board are arranged at an interval. The metal plate is electrically connected with a shell of the electrical load. A second end of the first filter circuit is electrically connected with the metal plate.

Electric compressor
An electric compressor includes an electric motor, and a motor controller configured to drive the electric motor. The motor controller includes a high voltage circuit board on which switching elements are mounted, a low voltage circuit board on which a control circuit controlling switching operation of the switching elements is mounted, an input connector, an output connector, and a current sensor. The high voltage circuit board and the low voltage circuit board are stacked with each other. The output connector is integrated with a detection busbar that provides electrical connection between the high voltage circuit board and the low voltage circuit board, and through which detection signals indicative of the output current are output to the control circuit.

A linear generator includes one or more helices, and one or more magnet members movable relative to a first helix to generate electric energy within the first helix. The first helix includes a first coil. The first helix and/or the magnet members have a density less than that of water such that the first helix and/or the magnet members have buoyant properties when the linear generator is at least partially submerged in the water.

The power semiconductor prepackage includes a power semiconductor switching element embedded in a solid insulating material, and an electrical connection extending from a terminal of the power semiconductor switching element through the solid insulating material to an electrical connection side of the power semiconductor prepackage. The power electronics converter includes a heat sink arranged to remove heat from the power semiconductor prepackage. The power electronics converter includes a thermal interface layer arranged between the heat removal side of the power semiconductor prepackage and the heat sink. A thermal conductivity of the thermal interface layer divided by an electrical conductivity of the thermal interface layer is greater than or equal to 1 TW/SK.

Provided is an electric circuit body including: a power semiconductor element; a first conductor plate configured to be connected to one surface of the power semiconductor element; a first sheet-shaped member having a first resin insulation layer and configured to at least cover a surface of the first conductor plate; a sealing material configured to seal each of the power semiconductor element, the first conductor plate, and an end of the first sheet-shaped member; and a first cooling member configured to be adhesively attached to the first sheet-shaped member. In the electric circuit body, the first sheet-shaped member includes : an embedded portion where the end of the first sheet-shaped member is covered with the sealing material; a heat dissipation surface as a region to overlap the surface of the first conductor plate; and a margin as a region between the embedded portion and the heat dissipation surface, the margin is located more inward than the heat dissipation surface, and the embedded portion is located more inward than the margin.
ELECTRICAL DEVICE AND POWER CONVERTER ASSEMBLY
An electric high-voltage device includes a fluid-tight housing, a high-voltage component arranged in the housing, and an insulating liquid in the housing in order to electrically insulate the high-voltage component. The high-voltage component is a passive current collector which is configured to at least temporarily conduct a current of at least 1 kA. There is also described a power converter assembly with the high-voltage device.
