The system includes an electronic control unit, a back electromotive force (EMF) boosting circuit, a plurality of high-voltage terminals, an electric motor, and a motor control unit. The electronic control unit receives and processes commands from the motor control unit. The back EMF boosting circuit adjusts the winding arrangements of the electric motor in order to change the state of the electric motor. The plurality of high-voltage terminals transfers high voltage electrical energy from the back EMF boosting circuit to the electric motor and vice versa. The motor control unit allows a user to input commands in order to activate increased torque or speed performance for the electric motor. The electric motor is preferably a multi-phase electric motor of an electric or hybrid vehicle.

Method for controlling compressor braking, frequency converter and variable speed compressor

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for controlling compressor braking, a frequency converter and a variable speed compressor. The method includes steps of: determining to brake a compressor, wherein a brake circuit includes three switching units and the three switching units are respectively electrically connected to three phases of windings of a motor of the compressor; actuating two of the three switching units to short-circuit two phases of windings of the motor. The two phases of windings of the motor are short-circuited by controlling the three switching units to generate braking torque, such that the compressor is braked without introducing a DC voltage, and thus the braking energy consumption is reduced. Besides, by turning on only two switches at a time, the switching abrasion is reduced, and the overall service life of the three switching units is effectively improved.

The present invention relates to a haptic feedback system and, specifically, to a device and method for controlling an actuator for haptic feedback, the method comprising: an actuator resonance frequency correction driving step of driving an actuator by repeatedly generating and outputting a drive signal including a driving time interval in which driving voltage is applied to the actuator and a guard time interval in which a back electromotive force (BEMF) signal of the actuator is detected, while correcting the length of the driving time interval according to detection time of a zero cross point of the BEMF signal detected within the guard time interval; and an actuator braking step of outputting at least one brake signal in synchronization with a zero cross point of the BEMF signal detected within the guard time interval, in order to remove residual vibration of the actuator.
