ADJUSTABLE EAR SHAPING MECHANISM
An adjustable ear shaping mechanism of the present application includes a base, an ear back support, and an upper cover. An opening is provided on the base, and the opening can allow an ear to pass therethrough. The ear back support is movably disposed in the opening, and supports an auricle from the back of the ear according to a part needing orthopedics. The upper cover is detachably connected to the base. An object-containing space is formed between the upper cover, the base, and the ear back support, and the ear is placed in the object-containing space. In a clinical use process, the ear back support may be disposed at a corresponding malformed part behind the ear according to a malformed part of the ear, the auricle is supported from the back of the ear, orthopedic requirements of different parts can be met, and clinical use is very convenient. In particular, due to a surface contact three-dimensional space traction orthopedic manner of an auricle former, not only a pressure intensity of a contact part is reduced, but also an intended aim of orthopedics can be achieved by a small force, so that clinical use is safer, and an orthopedic effect is better.

Implant delivery system
A system and method of delivering and detaching an implant within a body of a patient is described. A tether connects an implant with a delivery device. The delivery device includes a heater coil through which the tether passes. The inner diameter of the heater coil is about the same size or slightly larger than the outer diameter of the tether, allowing the tether to more efficiently break the tether during delivery.
Auditory sensitivity adjustment device
Provided is an auditory sensitivity adjustment device suitable to enhance concentration and attentiveness in any direction. An auditory sensitivity adjustment device 100 includes grab parts 32a and 32b for holding a pinna 50, springs 22 for applying to the grab parts 32a and 32b a force for pulling, in an extending direction, the pinna 50 held by the grab parts 32a and 32b, and a base 38 for rotating the pinna 50 held by the grab parts 32a and 32b so as to twist the pinna 50.

Antimicrobial gas impregnating devices and methods
A nitric oxide gas-releasing conduit configured for surgical implantation through a patient's tympanic membrane. The nitric oxide gas-releasing conduit comprises a gas-permeable cured resin material configured for releasably sequestering therein gas. The gas-permeable cured resin material is charged with nitric oxide gas. The nitric oxide gas-releasing conduit may be optionally coated with an antimicrobial gas-releasing composition. The gas-releasing coating composition may be configured to release nitric oxide.
Device and method for delivering medicine into the tympanic cavity, with sliding assist
A device insertable in the ear canal for substance delivery to and/or extraction from the tympanic cavity is described that includes a stationary body having a distal surface, a proximal surface; a movable body having a distal surface and a proximal surface, disposed within the stationary body and free to move relative to the stationary body in response to a pressure difference created in the ear canal; and at least one piercing element having a distal end and a proximal end, disposed in the movable body.
Tympanic membrane pressure equalization tube delivery system
Systems and methods are provided for automatically forming an incision in a tympanic membrane of an ear and placing a tympanic membrane pressure equalization tube into the incision. The systems include a housing with a shaft extending therefrom. A mechanism is disposed within the housing. A distal end of the shaft is placed against a tympanic membrane, and the mechanism is triggered to causes the tympanic membrane to be automatically incised and dilated and a tympanic membrane pressure equalization tube to be placed in the dilated incision.
Apparatus for treatment of middle ear fluid in the ears of infants and toddlers
An apparatus and method is provided for reducing middle ear fluid and equalizing middle ear pressure in infants and toddlers. The apparatus coordinates the act of swallowing and the forcing of air into the nostril of the child. The coordinated actions allow air forced into the nostril to traverse the Eustachian tube when in its open state. A flexible member and a main flexible tube, connected accordingly, are both adapted to be inserted into the child's mouth and nostril, respectively, to achieve such coordination and allow air to enter the Eustachian tube when in its open state, ultimately allowing air to reach the middle ear.
Surgical access assembly and method of using same
A surgical access assembly is disclosed. The surgical access assembly comprises an outer sheath and an obturator. The outer sheath is defined by an open distal end and an open proximal end and includes a hollow body portion therebetween. The obturator is defined by a distal end and a proximal end and the distal end further comprises a tapered distal tip member that terminates in a closed radiused distal tip. The obturator is configured to be received within the outer sheath such that the tapered distal tip member protrudes from the open distal end of the outer sheath when the obturator is in an introducing configuration.
