A plaster preparation includes (a) at least one resorbable polymer made of at least three monomer units, in particular a terpolymer, having monomers selected from the group consisting of trimethylene carbonate, glycolide, lactide (in particular DL-lactide), p-dioxanone, ε-caprolactone and/or butyrolactone; (b) at least one readily vaporizable organic solvent; and (c) at least one propellant. The plaster preparation additionally relates to a polymer film, to a spray plaster spray device, to a method for producing polymer fiber nonwoven materials, to a polymer fiber nonwoven material, and to uses of the plaster preparation.

Feminine hygiene product dispenser with trigger

A feminine hygiene product dispenser for dispensing feminine hygiene products. The dispenser includes a rack to hold the feminine hygiene products. A weight is adapted to fit within the rack, wherein the weight is supported by a last feminine hygiene product to be dispensed from the rack, the weight including an indicator. A housing includes a door, wherein the door has a window through which the indicator appears in the absence the plurality of feminine hygiene products. A product dispensing module includes a suction cup, a delivery tray, and a trigger operatively connected to the suction cup and to the delivery tray, wherein actuation of the trigger moves the suction cup to a holding position and positions the delivery tray to a product delivery position. The trigger slides freely when the suction cup is in the holding position to prevent the delivery tray from dispensing one of the feminine hygiene products.

Rigid or semi-rigid protecting element for covering wounds

A protecting element for wounds includes a rigid or semi-rigid substantially concave covering portion adapted to be anchored so as to face a wound and to be spaced therefrom, and anchoring members of the covering portion adapted to be anchored to the skin surrounding the wound to be protected. In particular, the anchoring members include at least one pair of movable fins that are independent from each other and are rotatably coupled to the covering portion.

Casting tape package system

A casting tape package system is provided comprising an outer package defining a first interior portion enclosing a casting tape substrate including curable casting formulation and a second interior portion enclosing a curing agent. In certain embodiments, the curing agent is separated from the casting tape substrate by a barrier which is breakable to release the curing agent to activate the curable casting formulation.

Victims may therefore be able to collect evidence themselves after an assault, instead of searching for a facility with personnel trained in forensic evidence collection, and enduring a long, intrusive examination. Embodiments may include a package (for example a clear bag) and the following components inside the package: gloves, swabs, swab containers, water, evidence collection bags, evidence bag sealing tape, evidence collection tape, a permanent marker, and instructions on how to identify, collect, seal, document, and store evidence.

Adhesive film bandage for medical compression

The present invention relates to a transparent elastic compression bandage film composite for the treatment of venous diseases and tissue lesions, comprising a transparent film layer of 5-50 microns thickness, a medical adhesive coated on at least a portion of one surface of the film layer, which is preferably hypoallergenic, a first release liner for longitudinal detachment covering the adhesive film surface and, optionally, a second release liner for longitudinal detachment to serve as a carrier, wherein the effects of elasticity and of strong adhesion add to a compression quality superior to textile European standard compression media, in the main affecting superficial varicosities and long-term wearing.

ADHESIVE SUPPORT DEVICES AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THEM

Described herein are adhesive support devices, which may include adhesive medical devices. In particular, three-dimensional adhesive medical devices from a single layer of material, typically by stamping or pressing (including cold pressing) a sheet of the material to form rigid and complex 3D shapes capable of use for a variety of medical and non-medical purposes. These adhesive support devices typically also include an adhesive material allowing the device to be attached to a subject's skin and/or mounted on a surface (e.g., wall, etc.). In particular, described herein are methods of manufacturing, assembling, and using adhesive support devices.
