Aerosol Containment Enclosure
An aerosol containment enclosure is used to isolate an air mass immediately surrounding a patient known or suspected to have a disease which may be transmitted through the air. The enclosure cooperates with a patient support apparatus (PSA). In embodiments, a flexible rod supports a substantially aerosol impermeable covering and is connected to the PSA. The enclosure may be semi-rigid and collapsible to a predetermined collapsed shape. The enclosure may be rapidly erected around a patient in an ambulance or other treatment setting. Embodiments of couplers provide compatibility with a wide diversity of sized and shaped PSAs. One coupler is connectable to the PSA with a coupler end exposed along a frame and upwardly extensible toward a PSA surface. A connector extends from the flexible rod and engages with the coupler end. The coupler may be longitudinally or laterally adjustable along the PSA.
Hygienic barrier
Personal protective equipment including hygienic barriers and methods of use to provide an improved barrier between a patient and a caregiver; where such barriers include a reinforced region and an enclosure portion, where the enclosure portion extends beyond the reinforced region such that when suspended above the patient, in a deployed configuration, the enclosure portion hangs down from the reinforced region through a force of gravity to form an enclosure space.
Marine rescue patient isolation apparatus
A patient isolation unit (PIU) for use in marine rescues. The PIU of this invention is useful to safely transport personnel exposed to, or potentially exposed to, an identified and/or known infectious agent or chemical warfare agent (CWA) on marine vessels and/or aircraft such as Coast Guard boasts, cutters and aircraft. The PIU has a generally tapered tubular shape compatible with wire rescue baskets conforming in shape to the human body and into which an injured, sick, or disabled person can be safely strapped, such as the Stokes litter rescue basket for hoisting and fit in rotary wing aircraft.
FIELD-TYPE MODULAR NEGATIVE PRESSURE ISOLATION ROOM SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING FIELD-TYPE MODULAR NEGATIVE PRESSURE ISOLATION ROOM SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a field-type negative pressure isolation room system including main facilities necessary for constructing a negative pressure isolation room defined by the legal regulations, wherein the main facilities are manufactured in a plant in a modular way, so these modular facilities are usually stored in a warehouse, etc., and are installed in an outdoor site such as a parking lot, playground, vacant lot, and the like in case of emergency to utilize as a negative pressure isolation room, and these modular facilities are disinfected and dismantled during demolition and stored in the warehouse again, whereby these modular facilities can be used repeatedly regardless of the number of times of use, and can be quickly constructed and dismantled.
Infection Control Systems and Devices
The disclosed infection control systems and devices can be easily and quickly deployed by clinicians and staff in emergent and routine medical environments to provide adequate protection from bio-aerosolized and droplet material while allowing appropriate access to and visibility of the patient during such procedures. The infection control devices may include a base member and a frame disposed on the base member. The frame may be configured to move between a collapsed state and an expanded state with respect to the base member. The frame may include a first support member and a second support member configured to extend vertically from the base member when in the expanded state. The devices may include an enclosure member that is disposed on the frame and the base member and configured to define an enclosure above the base member. The devices may also include access member(s) configured to provide access to the enclosure.
Worldwide vision screening and visual field screening booth, kiosk, or exam room using artificial intelligence, screen sharing technology, and telemedicine video conferencing system to interconnect patient with eye doctor anywhere around the world via the internet using ethernet, 4G, 5G, 6G or Wifi for teleconsultation and to review results
The present disclosure describes the clinical workflow, method, apparatus and system of an on demand artificial intelligence visual screening and visual field screening system that incorporates a display simulator cockpit frame system inside a booth, kiosk, or exam room with machine learning and telemedicine capabilities. According to various embodiments, an artificial intelligent, physical or virtual assistant may help in the screening process of the patient, and an eye doctor via telemedicine may connect to the computers in display simulator cockpit system to perform necessary medical consultations, visual examination or screenings via the display simulator cockpit frame set-up display system. Where an on demand health care provider via remote administration tool technology, remote screen sharing and remote control software control the medical equipment, provide medical consultations and medical examination to a patient from anywhere in the world via cellphone wireless networks or wifi to interconnect both systems.
