OPTICAL TRANSPORT NETWORK ALARM PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND MEDIUM
Provided are an alarm processing method and apparatus for an optical transport network, a network management system and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium. The alarm processing method for an optical transport network may include: acquiring intra-layer alarms of respective layers of a service layer by layer; acquiring a root alarm of an associated layer corresponding to a current layer based on the intra-layer alarms; and determining a service fault point based on the root alarm.
NETWORK MANAGEMENT ACTIONS BASED ON ACCESS POINT CLASSIFICATION
An example system includes access point (AP) devices configured to provide a wireless network at a site; and a network management system that stores network data received from the AP devices, the network data collected by the AP devices or client devices associated with the wireless network, and one or more processors configured to: receive a time series of SLE metrics based on the network data, determine, based on the time series, whether a network event has occurred, in response to a determination that a network event has occurred, determine a root cause for the network event, and in response to a determination that the root cause of the network event is associated with an AP device, determine a classification of the AP device, and determine a network management action for the AP device based on the network event and the classification of the AP device.
Coordinating inter-region operations in provider network environments
Methods and apparatus for coordinating inter-region operations in provider networks. An inter-region coordinator (IRC) operates asynchronously to the control planes of regional networks to coordinate inter-region operations. The IRC in a region may include one or more IRC servers. To perform inter-region operations, the servers may implement a local-remote-local method in which a server invokes an API in the local region to get work, sends the work to a control plane of a remote region, receives a response from the remote region, and informs the control plane in the local region of the status of the work.

Systems and methods for registering computer server event notifications
A system for secure transmission of business event notifications includes a memory, at least one processor, a service gateway configured to: publish application programming interfaces (APIs) for secure transmission of business event notifications, a notification server configured to: publish APIs for secure transmission of business event notifications corresponding to the APIs published by the service gateway, obtain a new business event to report, determine a partner to receive a notification of the new business event, transmit an event notification to the partner by way of the service gateway APIs, and register the event notification in a database.
Position parameterized recursive network architecture with topological addressing
A digital data communications network that supports efficient, scalable routing of data and use of network resources by combining a recursive division of the network into hierarchical sub-networks with repeating parameterized general purpose link communication protocols and an addressing methodology that reflects the physical structure of the underlying network hardware. The sub-division of the network enhances security by reducing the amount of the network visible to an attack and by insulating the network hardware itself from attack. The fixed bandwidth range at each sub-network level allows quality of service to be assured and controlled. The routing of data is aided by a topological addressing scheme that allows data packets to be forwarded towards their destination based on only local knowledge of the network structure, with automatic support for mobility and multicasting. The repeating structures in the network greatly simplify network management and reduce the effort to engineer new network capabilities.

Method for identifying application information in network traffic, and apparatus
A first correspondence table in a terminal device stores a correspondence between an identifier of a process running on the terminal device and an identifier of a data stream created by the process, a second correspondence table stores a second correspondence between an identifier of an application and an identifier of a process created by the application. The terminal device receives an identifier, sent by a network security device, of a first data stream. The terminal device can find, in the first correspondence table, a first record storing the identifier of the first data stream to obtain an identifier of a process. The terminal device can find in the second correspondence table, a second record storing the identifier of the process in the first record to obtain an identifier of an application from the second record. The identifier of the application is then sent to the network security device.
