Systems, software, and methods for managing networks of connected electronic devices are described. In one example, network management policy and network management applications are transferred automatically upon detection and identification of a new device, protocol or application on the network. In another example, information related to at least one aspect of the network is obtained by an NMAS, and at least one applicable management policy is identified by the NMAS; and the identified policy is used to manage at least one aspect of the network's operation.

A method and an apparatus for establishing a forwarding path, the method including obtaining, by a first network node, path information of a to-be-established forwarding path, where the path information comprises an identifier of a network node on the forwarding path and a transmission resource requirement that needs to be allocated by the network node to the forwarding path, and sending a path establishment request packet based on the path information, where a packet header of the path establishment request packet comprises the path information, and where the path establishment request packet triggers the network node to allocate a transmission resource to the forwarding path based on the transmission resource requirement.
METHOD FOR RECOMMENDING SIMILAR INCIDENT, AND RELATED DEVICE
A system and method for recommending a similar incident in operations technologies and a related device are provided. The method includes: obtaining alarm information of a to-be-processed incident; obtaining incident diagnosis information of M dimensions based on the alarm information, wherein the M dimensions include M different perspectives of incident diagnosis, and M is an integer greater than 1; performing processing based on the incident diagnosis information of the M dimensions, to obtain a feature of the to-be-processed incident; obtaining a plurality of similarity degrees through calculation based on the feature of the to-be-processed incident and features of a plurality of historical incidents, wherein the plurality of similarity degrees represent respective similarity degrees between the to-be-processed incident and the plurality of historical incidents; and obtaining a similar incident from the plurality of historical incidents through filtering based on the plurality of similarity degrees, and recommending the similar incident.

In a case where the downloaded installer is activated in a host computer, agent installation processing is executed according to input work for setting information for connection with the manager by a user. Examples described herein relate to a configuration manager for configuring a cloud application at a SaaS platform. The configuration manager is hosted on a cloud platform separate from a tenant site. The configuration manager receives a request for enabling remote management of the cloud application hosted on the tenant site. The configuration manager determines configuration content applicable for the cloud application from a configuration repository and configures the SaaS platform for remotely managing the cloud application based on the configuration content. The SaaS platform is a service associated with a management tooling used at the tenant site. The management tooling may be a monitoring tooling or a logging tooling. Once configured, the SaaS platform receives monitoring data or logging data from the infrastructure at the tenant site.

In accordance with embodiments disclosed herein, an exemplary system or computer implemented method for implementing Persistent Management Agent (PMA) functions for the control and coordination of DPU and DSLAM components may include, for example: a memory to store instructions for execution; one or more processors to execute the instructions; a virtualized module operating on virtualized computing infrastructure, in which the virtualized module is to provide a virtualized implementation of a plurality of functions associated with one or more remotely located Distribution Point Units (DPUs) and/or Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexers (DSLAMs), each of the one or more remotely located DPUs and/or DSLAMs having a plurality of broadband lines coupled thereto; in which the virtualized module is to further control Persistent Management Agent (PMA) functions and control coordination of the one or more remotely located DPUs and/or DSLAMs and the plurality of broadband lines coupled with the one or more remotely located DPUs and/or DSLAMs by virtualizing one or more functions of the one or more remotely located DPUs and/or DSLAMs to operate on the virtualized computing infrastructure; and a network interface to receive data and send control instructions for operation of the plurality of broadband lines to and from the one or more remotely located DPUs and/or DSLAMs. Other related embodiments are disclosed.
