IDENTIFYING A DOMAIN FOR DELIVERY OF MESSAGE SERVICE INFORMATION
An indication is used to control how message service information is routed over different domains. For example, an access terminal may be configured with an indication that indicates that a message service is preferred to be invoked over an IP domain or that the message service is not be invoked over the IP domain. The access terminal then delivers message service information based on the value of the indication. In some cases, a network entity generates the indication and sends the indication to the access terminal. In some cases, a domain for delivery of message service information is selected based on a domain that was selected for particular type of traffic.
Methods, systems, and computer-readable mediums for configuring electronic messaging applications
Methods, systems, and computer-readable mediums configure electronic messaging applications to communicate with a server storing messages to and/or from an electronic messaging account of a user. A method involves receiving an electronic message address and a password of the user as inputs, deriving server connection settings based on the electronic message address, and applying the server connection settings to the electronic messaging account. Another method involves receiving an electronic message address of the user and discovering the server connection settings for the electronic messaging account on a server having a designated protocol name as a server prefix name to assist in locating the server and having the server connection settings. The method also involves retrieving the server connection settings from a file provided by the server in response to locating the server having the designated name and applying the server connection settings to the electronic messaging account.
Coaching with collaborative editing
A method has acts for coupling from a computerized server executing software on a processor from a non-transitory medium to two or more computerized appliances operated by persons in a contact center, and updating text composition and editing results in real time in a display of each of the computerized appliances as any person operating a coupled computerized appliance composes or edits in a text-based communication application.
Location-based social software for mobile devices
A method for communicating location information to a device includes receiving, at a computer system that implements a social networking service, location information that represents a geographic location of a device associated with a first user; associating, by the computer system, the received location information with a profile associated with the first user; and sending, from the computer system to a device associated with a second user, a message that is generated based at least in part on the location information.
Email analytics
A method for performing email analytics is described. The method includes extracting emails from the configured email repository. The emails are then grouped into mail groups based on identification of content similarity of the emails. A network graph is then constructed for each of the mail group to identify an association of emails in the mail group based on header-level analysis of emails. Thereafter, email analytics is performed on the mail groups by clustering the mail groups into mail clusters based on temporal progression of emails in the mail groups. Key phrases are then determined based on a content analysis of emails in the mail groups in the mail clusters. The key phrases are then associated with the network graphs of the mail groups.
Secure Electronic Mail System
An e-mail system is disclosed that overcomes many deficiencies of, but is backward compatible with, existing e-mail systems. Embodiments of the system may include various features, including but not limited to: (1) secure transfer of e-mail messages, without the need for users to replace existing e-mail clients or to change e-mail addresses; (2) tracking of all actions performed in connection with an e-mail transmission; (3) the ability for a recipient to view information about an e-mail message, optionally including information about how other addressees have responded to it, before deciding whether to retrieve the e-mail message; (4) the aggregation of entire e-mail conversations into a single threaded view; (5) the ability to include both private and public messages in a single e-mail communication; (6) sender control over downstream actions performed in connection with an e-mail message; (7) flexible control over cryptographic methods used to encrypt emails messages for storage.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATING CLIENT-SIDE SYNCHRONIZATION OF PUBLIC KEYS OF EXTERNAL CONTACTS
Systems and methods for automating client-side synchronization and discovery of public keys and certificates of external contacts include a key synchronizer at a client device. The key synchronizer obtains, from the client device, an external contact associated with an external domain outside of a local domain of the client device and then identifies, based on the external domain, a public key registry outside of the local domain. The key synchronizer obtains, from the public key registry, a registry-supplied public key or digital certificate for the external contact and then stores the registry-supplied key as a locally-stored key in the local key store such that the client device can obtain and apply the locally-stored key to secure an email targeting the external contact as a recipient of the email.
Apparatus and Method for Delivering Media Content
A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a mobile communication device, having a controller to capture media content and transmit the media content to a media server with a request for distribution of the media content to one or more targeted recipients according to a user profile associated with the mobile communication device that is stored in the media server, where a format of the media content is adjusted by the media server based at least in part on the user profile. Other embodiments are disclosed.
User interfaces for providing supplemental contact information corresponding to a referenced individual
Providing supplemental contact information for an individual referenced in an electronic message typically includes receiving an electronic message, examining the electronic message, detecting an identifier for a referenced individual contained in the electronic message, and making supplemental contact information for the referenced individual available to a recipient of the electronic message. The supplemental contact information may include information that is in addition to information contained in the electronic message. The supplemental contact information may include at least one of an e-mail address, a screen name, a telephone number, a facsimile number, and a mailing address each of which is associated with the referenced individual.
Managing an e-mail response
A method for managing an e-mail response based on the e-mail domains of the recipients is provided. The method receives a first e-mail sent to a plurality of e-mail addresses that includes e-mails with different domain names, provides a list of different domain names associated with a plurality of e-mail addresses and an e-mail address of a sender of the first e-mail, generates, based on a selection of one or more of the different domain names, a distribution list including one or more e-mail addresses limited to e-mail addresses having a selected domain name, and providing the distribution list in an addressee field associated with the e-mail response.
