Methods, systems, and computer-readable mediums for configuring electronic messaging applications
Methods, systems, and computer-readable mediums configure electronic messaging applications to communicate with a server storing messages to and/or from an electronic messaging account of a user. A method involves receiving an electronic message address and a password of the user as inputs, deriving server connection settings based on the electronic message address, and applying the server connection settings to the electronic messaging account. Another method involves receiving an electronic message address of the user and discovering the server connection settings for the electronic messaging account on a server having a designated protocol name as a server prefix name to assist in locating the server and having the server connection settings. The method also involves retrieving the server connection settings from a file provided by the server in response to locating the server having the designated name and applying the server connection settings to the electronic messaging account.
Private real-time communication between meeting attendees during a meeting using one or more augmented reality headsets
Private real-time communications are provided between meeting attendees during a meeting using one or more augmented reality headsets. An augmented reality headset worn by a sending meeting attendee continuously monitors a current direction of the sending meeting attendee's gaze during the meeting, and detects that the sending meeting attendee has selected a receiving meeting attendee when the current direction of the sending attendee's gaze intersects with a location of the receiving meeting attendee. The augmented reality headset worn by the sending meeting attendee also receives a messaging command issued by the sending meeting attendee, also based on monitoring the sending meeting attendee's gaze during the meeting. In response to the messaging command, the augmented reality headset worn by the sending meeting attendee automatically transmits the private message to a device associated with the receiving meeting attendee, such as an augmented reality headset worn by the receiving meeting attendee.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR STORING AND TRANSFERRING MESSAGE DATA
A method includes storing a plurality of blocks in a queue, wherein each block stores one or more respective messages and is associated with a respective time that the block was stored in the queue. The method also includes allowing, by one or more computer processors, messages to be read from inactive blocks having associated storage times between a first time and a second time that is older than the first time, and deleting from the queue one or more inactive blocks having associated storage times older than the second time.
Switching network synchronization method, switching device, access device and storage medium
Disclosed is a switching network synchronization method, which is applied to a first switching device. The method comprises: receiving a first suspected target ID; the first suspected target ID being an ID corresponding to a suspected target switching device determined by an access device connected to the first switching device according to a first identity number ID; receiving via the access device a second suspected target ID sent by a second switching device; the second suspected target ID being an ID corresponding to a suspected target switching device determined by the second switching device; determining a first target ID according to the first suspected target ID and the second suspected target ID; and the first target ID being an ID corresponding to a target switching device. Also disclosed is a first switching device, an access device and a storage medium.
Connecting Consumers with Providers of Live Videos
A computer-implemented method includes receiving by one or more computer systems, a request from a client system of a consumer for a live, real-time video having specified attributes of a performance embedded in the live, real-time video; searching by the one or more computer systems a database of attributes of performances associated with live, real-time videos; and causing by the one or more computer systems a connection between the client system of the consumer with a system of a provider of a live, real-time video captured performance based on the specified attributes included in the request for the live, real-time video.
AUTOMATIC UPLOADING OF ATTACHMENTS TO GROUP CLOUD STORAGE AT SEND TIME
Technologies are presented directed to uploading of attachments to a relevant group cloud storage at send time. A communication application and/or service may suggest to a user to upload an attachment of an outgoing communication to a group cloud storage upon generation of the communication. Suggestion of group may be based on last use, document type, content, user(s), which account the user is in, and comparable factors. The user (or sender) may also be provided with options to set permissions for the attachment based on the upload destination selection. In some examples, upload of work documents to personal cloud storage may be prevented and suitable groups may be selected for user that are part of multiple groups.
Methods and apparatus to provide messages to television users
Methods and apparatus to provide messages to consumer electronics devices are disclosed. An example method includes determining an identifier associated with a consumer electronics device from which a request has been received. The method also includes querying a database to determine first and second account identifiers associated with the identifier of the consumer electronics device. When the request is for messaging information stored with a first message provider, a first command is sent to cause the first message provider to forward the messaging information. When the request is for messaging information stored with a second message provider, a second command is sent to cause the second message provider to forward the messaging information. The messaging information received from at least one of the first message provider and the second message provider is sent to the consumer electronics device.
Tiered key communication system and method in support of controlled vendor message processing
A computer-implemented system processes secure electronic documents from one or more content providers in accordance with subscriber instructions has a processor and modules operative within the processor. A monitoring module obtains a provider GUID, a subscriber GUID, and a transaction ID from public metadata associated with a transaction received from a particular content provider. A determination module determines any designees of the subscriber and contact information one or more of the subscriber and any designees. A transaction module distributes a transaction addressed to at least one of the subscriber and any designees. Each distributed transaction includes data that is used for management, tracking, and alerting. Also described is a station for constructing transactions for distribution to subscribers through such a system, and management of local-advertising to users of such a system. An end-to-end system and method are described.
Interactive case management system
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a method for processing computer readable electronic files in an investigation in a computer system including a processor coupled to a display and an electronic storage device coupled to the processor. The method includes the processor accessing the electronic files and related data from a data source. The accessed files and related data are culled by the processor based on predetermined filter criteria. The processor stores the remaining files and related data in a third-party data repository and maps a set of electronic files and related data stored in the third-party data repository into a predetermined database schema. The mapped files and related data are analyzed by the processor, which applies a status decision on them. The analyzed electronic files and related data are submitted to a third-party e-discovery processing application based on the applied status decision.
AUTOMOTIVE WHEEL OVERLAY ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
A vehicle wheel overlay attachment system disclosed herein provides for wheel overlays, or wheel skins, that are readily installable over existing wheels by securing directly to a wheel center cap. The center cap is adapted to be inserted into the center hub portion of the wheel, much like a traditional center cap, but also contains a system for securing a wheel overlay to the center cap. When properly installed on the center cap, the wheel overlay will be snugly positioned over the wheel thereby changing the appearance of the vehicle wheel.
