PORTABLE TERMINAL APPARATUS AND WIRELESS POWER TRANSMISSION METHOD BY PORTABLE TERMINAL APPARATUS
A portable device comprising: an inter-device communication transceiver configured to receive, from at least one subordinate portable device that operates in accordance with control performed by the portable device, a power transfer request signal with respect to the subordinate portable device; a power transfer control circuit configured to transfer power to the subordinate portable device; a battery; and a controller configured to control an operation of the inter-device communication transceiver and an operation of the power transfer control circuit. The controller is further configured to: when the inter-device communication transceiver receives the power transfer request signal, detect a battery residual amount; and perform control for causing the power transfer control circuit and the inter-device communication transceiver to output electromagnetic waves for wireless power transfer in accordance with a detection result of the battery residual amount.
CONTROL PROCESSING METHOD, ELECTRIC DEVICE, AND CONTROL PROCESSING PROGRAM
A control processing method of an electric device for implementing an operation content indicated by an operation command received from a control terminal, the method including a step of discriminating whether the received operation command is a predetermined operation command, and a step of notifying the control terminal that the operation content indicated by the operation command has not been implemented without implementing the operation content indicated by the operation command, in a case where the received operation command is the predetermined operation command. Therefore, in a case where a command specification of an industry standard is designed, although the electric device receives an unsupported command, it is possible to obtain that the electric device is smoothly controlled.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL WEARABLE APPARATUS
The invention consists of a multifunctional wearable. In addition to functioning as wearable jewelry, the invention contains a wire or cable to provide an additional function, such as for carrying audio signals or digital data. Thus a wearable can be used, for example, as a headphone cable or data cable, or to provide additional functions.
Spoofing detection
Methods are described herein useful for detecting spoofing by wireless access devices. In some embodiments, spoofing can be detected based on locations for a wireless access device having an identifier at first and second times. The locations are compared to determine whether the wireless access device could access the particular network at the locations in the time period between the first and second times. In several embodiments, spoofing can be detected by tracking the activity of wireless access devices and identifying events that that are prohibited by one or more policy elements of the particular network.
Method and apparatus for providing a contact address
An apparatus and method for providing a contact address based on context information and an indication of a recommended contact and a preferred communication channel for reaching the recommended contact. The indication is based on pre-stored context information that matches the current context information. The communication channel may be one of a social networking service (SNS), a mobile phone number, a home phone number, a business phone number, a short message services (SMS), and a multimedia message service (MMS). The method may include: detecting, by an electronic device, current context information of the electronic device; comparing the current context information with prestored context information; and outputting an indication of a recommended contact and a preferred communication channel for reaching the recommended contact, wherein the indication is output based on the prestored context information matching the current context information.
Apparatus and method for accessing wireless network
A method of using subscriber identification information stored in mobile user equipment (UE) to connect to a communication service over a public wireless network in the UE, establishing a communication link between the UE and a device, generating network access information (NAI) associated with the communication service in the UE, and sending the NAI from the UE to the device via the communication link. The method further comprises connecting the communication service in the device using the NAI and terminating the connection of the communication service in the UE.
Method for power saving in mobile devices by optimizing wakelocks
A method for conserving device and/or network resources is provided herein. The method includes detecting a wakelock operating on a mobile device and determining a consumption of one of a power or radio usage attributed to the detected wakelock. The method further includes determining a criticality related to user experience for the detected wakelock and releasing the detected wakelock based on the determined consumption and criticality. Related systems and mobile devices are also disclosed.
Information terminal
A control device of an information terminal of the present invention determines whether one specified operation among multiple specified operations to an input device 11 is done. On condition that the one specified operation is determined to be done, the control device causes the input device 11 to function as an input interface used to input information in order to use a function related to one category among the multiple categories corresponding to the one specified operation.
Apparatus with multi-directional radiation capability using multiple antenna elements
An apparatus for reducing interference and improving communication quality for RF communications over mm-wave frequency bands between wireless communications devices. In one embodiment, for example, the apparatus comprises a plurality of high-gain directional antenna elements each configured to maximally radiate in different directions relative to the apparatus. The apparatus also includes a RFIC chip electrically coupled to the plurality of antenna elements and configured to switch from driving any one of the directional antenna elements to driving another of the directional antenna elements thereby providing a multi-directional or near omni-directional radiation capability for a wireless communications device.
Modular device system desense reduction
A modular device system is provided having a base portable electronic communication device. The base portable electronic communication device has a display side and a reverse side, and one or more antennas being located along one of the device edges. A ground element on the reverse side of the housing is adjacent to the antennas and is grounded to the chassis. A multi-pin connector array on the same side is located adjacent to the ground element and the ground element lies between the connector array and the antennas. The ground element is configured to contact a mating ground element on an add-on module when the module is mated to the base portable electronic communication device.
