MOBILE ELECTRONIC DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM THAT STORES CONTROL PROGRAM
A mobile electronic device includes a housing, an atmospheric pressure sensor configured to detect atmospheric pressure inside the housing, and at least one controller configured to shift a current first mode to a second mode when it is determined that the housing is gripped by a user of the mobile electronic device based on the detected atmospheric pressure.
STATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION DEVICE, WEARABLE COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND STATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION METHOD
An embodiment of the present invention not only protects user's privacy but also reliably notifies a user of a change in state of an external communication device. A state change notification device (1) includes: an information receiving section (11) that receives state change information in a case where a change in state occurs in a device (100, 200, 300, or 400) in which an external communication device (500) or the state change notification device (1) is provided; and an expansion control section (12) that controls inflation of a balloon (24) provided in a wristwatch-type communication device (100) so that an inner pressure of the balloon (24) will be a user-perceivable pressure.
SENSATION INDUCTION DEVICE AND SOUND OUTPUT SYSTEM
[Problem] To enable presentation of sound in a more suitable manner even in a situation where a sound output unit with limited performance to output a part of frequency components is applied.
[Solution] A sensation induction device including: a vibration unit that has a long shape and vibrates in the long direction; and a support unit that supports the vibration unit in the vicinity of a portion where at least a part of a predetermined portion of a user contacts in a state where the user listens to sound, wherein vibration of the vibration unit is controlled on the basis of a part of frequency components included in sound to be output such that the vibration is associated with output of sound from a predetermined sound output unit.
Switch circuit and method of switching radio frequency signals
An RF switch circuit and method for switching RF signals that may be fabricated using common integrated circuit materials such as silicon, particularly using insulating substrate technologies. The RF switch includes switching and shunting transistor groupings to alternatively couple RF input signals to a common RF node, each controlled by a switching control voltage (SW) or its inverse (SW_), which are approximately symmetrical about ground. The transistor groupings each comprise one or more insulating gate FET transistors connected together in a “stacked” series channel configuration, which increases the breakdown voltage across the series connected transistors and improves RF switch compression. A fully integrated RF switch is described including control logic and a negative voltage generator with the RF switch elements. In one embodiment, the fully integrated RF switch includes an oscillator, a charge pump, CMOS logic circuitry, level-shifting and voltage divider circuits, and an RF buffer circuit.
Computing device with configurable antenna
A computing device with a configurable antenna. The antenna is configured through a switching circuit operating under software control. Operating characteristics of the antenna are configured based on connections between conducting segments established by the switching circuit, allowing the nominal frequency, bandwidth or other characteristics of the antenna to be configured. Because the switching is software controlled, the configurable antenna may be integrated with a software defined radio. The radio and antenna can be reconfigured to support communication according to different wireless technologies at different times or to interleave packets according to different wireless technologies to support concurrent sessions using different wireless technologies.
Housing and loudspeaker module
A housing (1) is provided which in particular is suitable for a mobile phone and, in addition to the customary loudspeaker housing (2) for accommodating a loudspeaker (4), comprises an additional housing (3) enclosing an additional volume of air (16) and being arranged in a preferential direction (V) for sound emission of the loudspeaker housing (2). Further, a loudspeaker module comprising the housing (1) as well as a loudspeaker (4), a microphone (8) and a control unit for active noise suppression is provided.
Signal input module and mobile terminal having the same
A signal input module includes: a key body; a key base coupled to a lower portion of the key body, and having fixing portions of different heights at both sides thereof; a flexible printed circuit board disposed such that an upper surface thereof is covered by the key base, and having a dome portion on a rear surface thereof, the dome portion configured to generate a signal when pressed by the key base; and a light emitting portion formed on one surface of the flexible printed circuit board, wherein the fixing portion and the key base are connected to each other by a connection portion, wherein the connection portion is bent from one end of the key base, extends toward the fixing portion, wherein the connection portion is provided with a hole, and wherein the flexible printed circuit board is disposed to cross the hole. Under such configuration, the number of components can be reduced and the signal input module can have a slim configuration.
Statistics-assisted sCell selection
Systems and methods for Secondary Cell (sCell) selection for wireless devices operating according to a carrier aggregation scheme in a cellular communications network are disclosed. More specifically, in some embodiments, a statistics-assisted sCell selection process is utilized for sCell selection. This statistics-assisted sCell selection process improves the efficiency of sCell selection, particularly where there are multiple candidate sCells on multiple carrier frequencies.
PORTABLE TERMINAL, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PORTABLE TERMINAL
A mobile terminal (1) includes: a motion detecting section (14) configured to detect a state of motion of the mobile terminal and an attitude of the mobile terminal; and an audio output control section (12) configured to (a) determine whether or not the mobile terminal is outputting audio and (b) in a case where notification conditions have been satisfied, notify the user, via audio that information to be provided to the user has been acquired. The notification conditions include a state where the mobile terminal has remained stationary for a predetermined period after undergoing movement; a state where, after the movement, the mobile terminal has remained in a predetermined attitude for a predetermined period; and a state where, after the movement, the mobile terminal is not outputting audio other than audio for notification.
