Multiple camera alignment system with flexible substrates and stiffener members
Described herein are manufacturing methods and camera system designs that provide precise alignment between multiple camera modules mounted on a common chassis. The chassis includes a plurality of mounting regions, with each mounting region including one or more mounting posts. Each camera module includes one or more guiding holes into which the mounting posts are inserted. By precisely positioning the guiding holes and the mounting posts, the alignment of the camera modules with the chassis and the other camera modules may be controlled with high precision.
Apparatus and method for panoramic video hosting with reduced bandwidth streaming
A server includes an input node to receive video streams forming a panoramic video. A module forms a suggested field of view in the panoramic video. The suggested field of view is based upon a viewing parameter, such as a client device motion parameter or a motion prediction parameter. An output node sends the suggested field of view to a client device.
Robot sensor installation
Methods, systems, and apparatus a drone for installing sensors. A method includes determining to emulate a view of a camera at a particular location with a drone, deploying the drone to the particular location, obtaining an image captured by a drone, and emulating the view of the camera with the image.
Around view monitor system and monitoring method
The present disclosure relates to an around view monitor (AVM) system that provides image information on the ambient conditions of a vehicle to a driver. In displaying a top-view image in which the front, rear, left, and right conditions of a vehicle are seen downward from a portion over the vehicle, an AVM system and method checks a driving state or driving direction of the vehicle on the basis of information received from sensors and elements included in the vehicle, and outputs the top-view image which is suitably edited depending on the driving conditions, thereby providing information necessary for driving to a driver.
Sky luminance mapping system and mapping method
A sky luminance mapping system includes a camera unit, two pyranometer units and a processing unit. Camera unit includes a fisheye lens to shoot image of sky dome and is equipped with light-shading devices which block the sun from the camera unit corresponding to instant location of the sun at instant time. First pyranometer unit measures daylight illuminance from the sky dome and outputs first intensity signal while the light-shading device is applied to block the sun. Second pyranometer unit measures daylight illuminance from the sky dome and outputs second intensity signal without blocking the sun. A reference intensity value is obtained by subtracting a value of the first intensity signal from a value of the second intensity signal. According to the value of the first intensity signal and the reference intensity value, a total luminance of and the luminance distribution in the image of the sky dome are corrected.
Single-unit 360-degree camera with a multifunctional lumen
Single-unit, 360-degree cameras are provided with lighting arrays and a multifunctional lumens, as well as systems and methods for mounting, moving, and/or cooling the cameras such that the operator, lighting, and carriers of the camera are at least substantially invisible to the lens of the camera when taking a spherical image.
DOOR LOCK AND DOOR SECURITY SYSTEM
Door locks, door locking and unlocking methods, and door security and communications devices are provided, and can include an exterior module mountable on an exterior surface of a door; an interior module mountable on an interior surface of a door; a deadbolt movable between an unlocked position allowing opening of the door from a closed state and a locked position preventing opening of the door from the closed state; a camera and/or a microphone provided on the exterior module; and a wireless communication device configured to communicate images from the camera and/or sound from the microphone to a smart phone or computer of an authorized user for remote observation of an area adjacent the exterior surface of the door.
TRANSMISSION DEVICE, TRANSMISSION METHOD, RECEPTION DEVICE, AND RECEPTION METHOD
The present technology ensures that electrooptical conversion processing for transmission video data obtained using an HDR optoelectrical conversion characteristic is favorably carried out at a receiving side. The transmission video data is obtained by performing high dynamic range optoelectrical conversion on high dynamic range video data. A video stream is obtained by applying encoding processing to this transmission video data. A container in a predetermined format including this video stream is transmitted. Meta information indicating an electrooptical conversion characteristic corresponding to a high dynamic range optoelectrical conversion characteristic is inserted into a parameter set field in the video stream.
Method and device for parking a vehicle
A method for assisting a reverse parking maneuver of a motor vehicle equipped with a rear-view camera system into a longitudinal parking space, wherein the image of the surroundings to the rear of the motor vehicle is displayed on a display of the motor vehicle. For the determination of the parking position on both sides of the vehicle, two 3D symbols, in particular 3D cuboids, are respectively blended into the image of the rear-view camera system, wherein the distance between two 3D symbols corresponds to one side of a minimum parking space for the motor vehicle.
Systems and methods for saving and restoring scenes in a multimedia system
Systems and methods for saving and restoring scenes in a multimedia system with minimal configuration are provided. The techniques of the present invention can allow the states of the components in the multimedia system to be captured in a scene. Once the scene has been saved, the scene can be restored at a later time. A remote control system for recommending scenes by comparing states of components in the current scene with states of components in saved scenes is also provided. The remote control system can also recommend scenes based on usage patterns. Moreover, the remote control system can allow users to designate one or more saved scenes as favorite scenes.
