A method, system, and computer program product for adding photograph metadata based on micro-locations of a venue are provided. A photograph is detected, wherein the photograph was taken by a user at a venue. A wireless beacon is detected, wherein the wireless beacon is associated with a micro-location in the venue. Tag information corresponding to the wireless beacon is retrieved. Metadata of the photograph is populated, based on the tag information, wherein the metadata is searchable by the user. One or more rules are determined, wherein the one or more rules define one or more categories of metadata to populate the photograph. A location of a plurality of wireless beacons at the venue is requested. A map indicating the location of each of the plurality of wireless beacons at the venue is generated.
Trusted evidence cameras and related methods and computer program products
Digital Cameras configured to verify authenticity of digital photos taken with the digital camera and related methods and computer program products are provided. GPS information associated with a photograph taken with the digital camera is obtained. A checksum of pixels that make up the photograph and the obtained GPS information is generated. The generated checksum is encrypted using a private key associated with the digital camera so as to allow verification that the photograph has not been modified.
Selectively tranferring image data from user equipment to external device
Described embodiments provide a method and user equipment for selectively transferring image data from user equipment to a coupled external device. The method may include determining whether user equipment is coupled to an external device, receiving selection inputs from a user for selecting at least one of applications installed in the user equipment when the user equipment is determined as being coupled to the external device, and selectively transferring image data produced in the user equipment based on the selected application. The method may further include controlling the coupled external device to display the transferred image data on a display unit of the coupled external device.
