PROTECTION APPARATUS APPLIED TO RADIOTHERAPY TREATMENT COUCH AND RADIOTHERAPY TREATMENT COUCH
A protection apparatus applied to a radiotherapy treatment couch and a radiotherapy treatment couch are provided. The protection apparatus includes: a protection panel and a status control mechanism connected to the protection panel, the protection panel being located in a to-be-protected area of the treatment couch and being perpendicular to a couch top of the treatment couch when in a use position, and the status control mechanism being configured to fix the protection panel to the use position or adjust the protection panel to a lay-down position. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the status control mechanism may adjust the protection panel in the use position, or in the lay-down position, so that the protection panel may protect a patient when in the use position, and the protection panel may not hinder a movement of the patient when in the lay-down position.
Patient support apparatus having an integrated limb compression device
A patient support apparatus includes a frame having a patient support deck. A footboard is removably coupled to the frame. A compression therapy module is located inside the footboard or is mounted to a foot section of the frame. A sleeve port is pneumatically coupled to the compression therapy module and is located on the foot section. The sleeve port is configured for attachment to at least one tube extending from a compression sleeve worn on a limb of a patient. Control circuitry is coupled to the frame and is operable to control functions of the patient support apparatus and to control the compression therapy module. A graphical display screen is coupled to the control circuitry and displays user inputs that are selected to control functions of the patient support apparatus and the compression therapy module.
Percussive adjusting instrument
A percussive adjusting instrument is provided which includes a percussive instrument head and a traversing arm that couples to the percussive instrument head. The percussive instrument head is movable with respect to the traversing arm. A vertical arm supports the traversing arm. The vertical arm also pivots the traversing arm and the percussive instrument head about an axis. A pivot assembly allows movement of the vertical arm and the percussive instrument head.
Disposable container for mobile medical cart
A medical cart having a chassis with a plurality of wheels attached thereto; a plurality of drawers supported on the chassis; a temperature-regulated compartment in the chassis; a locking bar pivotally attached to the chassis; a headwall mount attached to the chassis; a display mounted on the chassis; and a positionable task light attached to the chassis. Each drawer includes a drawer lock shiftable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking bar is shiftable between a locked position and an unlocked position so that the locking bar serves as a secondary safety lock for all the drawers and the door of the temperature-regulated compartment.
ROTATABLE SURGICAL TABLE
Provided is a rotatable surgical apparatus and accompanying method for processing a specimen via the rotatable surgical apparatus. The surgical apparatus may include a base member and a platform member where the platform member and base member abut. Each of the base member and platform member may define one or more channel. The one or more base channels may be in fluid communication with the one or more platform channels. A nozzle may be disposed on the top surface of the platform member, in fluid communication with the at least one platform channel and may administer anesthetic to a specimen.

PATIENT SUPPORT APPARATUS WITH NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
A patient support apparatus for supporting a patient includes a mattress with an inflatable mattress portion with a plurality of states. The apparatus further includes a control system to control inflation or deflation of the mattress portion to change its state between two or more of the states. The apparatus further includes a user interface in communication with the control system, which is configured to allow a user to select an inflate or deflate function of the mattress portion to change the state of the mattress portion. Further, the control system is operable to inflate or deflate the mattress portion in response to the signal being generated when a user selects an inflate or deflate function at the user interface. The control system is configured to generate a notification indicative of the selected state of the mattress portion to remind to a caregiver to change the selected state.
