A method and apparatus for storing a computer location including the steps of initiating, by a user of a device, a capture sequence, wherein the device includes a processor and a display screen, obtaining, by the processor, visual data corresponding to an image displayed on the display screen at the time of the initiating step, obtaining, by the processor, location data corresponding to a computer location accessed by the device, and storing, by the processor, the visual data and the location data as associated data such that the visual data and the location data are associated with each other. A method and apparatus for sending the computer location further including the step of sending, by the first device, the associated data to a second device, wherein the second device includes a second processor and a second display screen.

Computer-readable recording medium, information processing method, and information processing device

Information for determining whether to evacuate or not is provided to a user by a computerized process. The process includes: acquiring a number of evacuees for each of a plurality of targets corresponding to a predetermined user; selecting a target of the plurality of targets based on the acquired numbers of evacuees for the plurality of targets and importance levels respectively set for the plurality of targets; and associating information on the selected target with information on the acquired number of evacuees for the selected target and outputting the information on the selected target and the information on the acquired number of evacuees for the selected target to the predetermined user.

Discovering an embedded subscriber identification module root discovery service endpoint
11696116 · 2023-07-04 · ·

A method includes receiving a request to provision an embedded subscriber identity module (eSIM) profile to an eSIM-enabled device. The request includes a proxy eSIM identifier (EID) prefix. The eSIM profile is associated with a service provider of a mobile communication service a user of the device subscribes to. The method also includes determining whether the proxy EID prefix includes an address of a target discovery server the device is configured to connect to, and when the proxy EID prefix includes the address the method includes extracting the address of the target discovery server from the proxy EID prefix. Using the extracted address of the target discovery server, the method also includes registering a discovery event with the target discovery server indicating that the service provider has reserved the eSIM profile to the proxy EID or an actual EID assigned to the device.

Vehicle occupancy verification utilizing occupancy confirmation

The present invention is a method and system to verify carpool occupancy compliance for access to High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes, High Occupancy or Toll (HOT) lanes, or other vehicle-occupancy contingent rewards. The present invention uses software and hardware devices with radio-frequency transmitter modules to capture one or more photo images of vehicle occupants and to perform boxed headcounts of humans in any given photo frame. The present invention uses biometric signature detection to confirm the boxed headcounts and a realness algorithm to further confirm the genuineness of any human image. Occupancy compliance can be communicated directly to an appropriate regulatory body.
