The electronic device may be configured to receive an AP list including information on a plurality of first APs using the communication circuit, obtain a representative position corresponding to at least a portion of the plurality of first APs based on positions corresponding to the plurality of first APs stored in the memory, and update position information of at least one second AP of the plurality of first APs stored in the memory based at least on the representative position if a position of the at least one second AP is a specified distance or more away from the representative position. In addition to the above, various embodiments identified through the specification are possible.
Method for the locationally selective transmission of a signal by radio, method for the locationally selective reception of a signal by radio, and transmitter/receiver unit for carrying out such a method
A method is described for the locationally selective transmission of a signal by radio. Both a transmitter and a receiver are synchronized to the same time reference. The receiver receiving and demodulating, at a time that is one of the specified times of the time reference, a signal transmitted by the transmitter, if the receiver has received the signal at a time that is one of the specified times. The method includes the transmitter determining a receive location within a receive zone to which it wishes to transmit the signal in selective fashion, a position in the receive zone being a function of a position of the transmitter and a signal runtime. The method also includes the transmitter transmitting the signal; and the receiver, which is situated inside the receive zone, receives and demodulates the signal.
Determining a suitability of network nodes for RF-based presence and/or location detection
A system (1) for selecting one or more devices in a wireless network for transmitting, receiving and/or processing a radio frequency signal for presence and/or location detection comprises at least one processor (5) configured to determine a suitability of each of a plurality of devices (11-15) for transmitting, receiving and/or processing a radio frequency signal for presence and/or location detection, select a subset of devices from the 5 plurality of devices based on the suitability determined for each of the plurality of devices, and instruct at least one of the subset of devices to act as a device for transmitting, receiving and/or processing a radio frequency signal for presence and/or location detection.
TERMINAL AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD
A terminal according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: a control section that calculates a pathloss based on a reference signal of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state of a specific downlink resource in a case where a pathloss reference signal and spatial relation information are not configured for specific uplink transmission; and a transmitting section that performs the specific uplink transmission using transmission power based on the pathloss. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a reference signal for at least one of QCL and pathloss calculation for uplink transmission can be appropriately determined.
Using an uplink grant as trigger of first or second type of CQI report
Channel state feedback is provided from a UE to a base station as a first, detailed or a second, less detailed type of channel state feedback information. Initially it is determined whether the UE has received an uplink grant from the base station or not. If the UE has received an uplink grant, a first type of channel state feedback information is transmitted to the base station on the granted resource. If, however, the UE has not received an uplink grant, a second type of channel state feedback information is transmitted to the base station. Different types of channel state feedback information enables a UE and an associated to base station to use available resources more efficiently, when requesting for and delivering channel state feedback information.
Wireless communication device that changes setting content of beacon terminal
A wireless communication device including: a memory that stores a setting content of a beacon terminal to be rewritten, identification information of the beacon terminal, and a flag indicating whether the setting of the beacon terminal has been already rewritten, the setting content, the identification information and the flag being associated with each other; and a processor coupled to the memory and the processor configured to: acquire data broadcasted from the beacon terminal; and transmit the setting content to the beacon terminal, and cause the beacon terminal to change the setting when identification information of the beacon terminal included in the data acquired from the beacon terminal is identical with the identification information stored into the memory, changing the setting of the beacon terminal is not completed and a strength of a received signal from the beacon terminal is equal to or more than a threshold value.
User equipment in wireless communication system, electronic device, method and storage medium
The present disclosure relates to a user equipment in a wireless communication system, an electronic device, a method and a storage medium. The user equipment in the wireless communication system according to the present disclosure comprises one or more processing circuits, the processing circuits being configured to execute the following operations: acquiring a downlink signal from an electronic device in the wireless communication system; estimating the angle of arrival (AOA) of the downlink signal, wherein at least the AOA and the position of the electronic device are used for estimating the position of the user equipment. By using the user equipment, electronic device, method and storage medium according to the present disclosure, the AOA of a downlink signal may be estimated when the user equipment is in an idle or initial access state, and the AOA may be used for estimating the position of the user equipment.
Enabling Identification of Objects
The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a device (10) of enabling identification of a telecommunication equipment (30, 51, 52, 53, 54), and a device (10) performing the method. The present disclosure further relates to a method performed by a device (40) of performing identification of a telecommunication equipment (30, 51, 52, 53, 54), and a device (40) performing the method. In an aspect, a method performed by a device (10) of enabling identification of a telecommunication equipment (30, 51, 52, 53, 54) is provided. The method comprises acquiring (S101) at least one visual representation of the telecommunication equipment (30, 51, 52, 53, 54), acquiring (S102), by performing a radio frequency scan of the telecommunication equipment (30, 51, 52, 53, 54) for each acquired visual representation, a cell identifier for the telecommunication equipment (30, 51, 52, 53, 54) and associating (S103) the acquired cell identifier for the telecommunication equipment (30, 51, 52, 53, 54) with the acquired visual representation of the telecommunication equipment (30, 51, 52, 53, 54).
