20230007605 · 2023-01-05 · ·

A cell search and synchronization method in a wireless communication system providing at least one cell having a frequency span in the frequency domain, the method includes: defining, for a said cell, a plurality of resources within the frequency span and within a defined time frame for transmitting a synchronization signal wherein a resource is characterised by a location in the frequency domain and a location in the time domain; and transmitting the synchronization signal in more than one of the plurality of resources.

METHODS FOR ENABLING A REDUCED BANDWIDTH WIRELESS DEVICE TO ACCESS A CELL

A method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network. The method includes detecting first synchronization signaling of a first cell on first time and frequency resources. The first synchronization signaling comprises at least a first synchronization signal and a second synchronization signal. The method further includes detecting indication signaling on second time and frequency resources. The second time and frequency resources are derived based on the first time and frequency resources. The method further includes accessing the first cell if the indication signaling is detected on the second time and frequency resources. Accessing the first cell includes decoding a first system information message on a broadcast channel of the first cell. The first system information message indicates time and frequency resources of a first resource set. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may indicate via control signaling a switching pattern for a bandwidth part (BWP) for communication between a user equipment (UE) and the base station. The switching pattern may include a set of slots associated with a full-duplex communications mode and a set of slots associated with a half-duplex communications mode. The UE and the base station may communicate in the half-duplex communications mode using the BWP, and the UE and the base station may communicate in the full-duplex communications mode using at least one of a first sub-BWP of the BWP for uplink signaling and a second sub-BWP of the BWP for downlink signaling. The base station may configure different resource allocations, operating parameters, and physical uplink control channel resources for the same configured transmissions or receptions for the half-duplex communications mode and the full-duplex communications mode.

Configuring a multicast or broadcast wireless network

A Multicast-Broadcast over a Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) message may be multicasted to a cluster of network elements. Using multicasting or unicasting based on a number of unacknowledged network elements of the cluster of network elements, the MBSFN message may be retransmitted to unacknowledged network elements in the cluster of network elements, subsequent to a time period to receive an acknowledgement message from a first and a second network element.

A first radio base station informs a second radio base station about the configuration information of a second carrier, such as NBC or EC, not having an individual first identifier, as the configuration information of the second carrier is correlated with a first carrier, such as BC, having the individual first identifier. The radio station has a function of performing communication with a radio terminal using simultaneously a plurality of carriers included in the carrier set.

Wireless communication device and wireless communication method

The transmission of a reference signal, such as a CSI-RS, is enabled while maintaining a power saving effect when performing inter-cell cooperative transmission/reception or the like in a plurality of cells. In order to realize inter-cell cooperative transmission/reception, a CSI-RS which is used for estimating the state of a spatial propagation path of a communication line is generated by a CSI-RS generation unit, and the CSI-RS is disposed in a predetermined subframe by a disposition unit and transmitted. At this time, when a frame has ten subframes #0 to #9, the CSI-RS is disposed in the subframes #4 and #9, which are subframes excluding the subframes #0 and #5 incapable of transmitting a CSI-RS and are subframes other than subframes capable of acting as MBSFN subframes when discontinuous communication (Extended Cell DTX) is performed so as to achieve power saving, and transmitted.

Channel configuration in a wireless network

A base station may send, to a wireless device, control channel configuration information indicating various aspects of a control channel (e.g., radio resources, subframes, etc.) that may be used for data communications between the base station and wireless device.

Wireless extension of broadband access

Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for extending a network through the use of access nodes. The access nodes may receive packets from user devices via wireless networks. The packets may be routed to a remote server for further network access. The access nodes may communicate with the user devices using network addresses associated with the wireless networks.

Methods, user equipment and radio network node for multimedia broadcast multicast service

A method and a user equipment as well as a method and a radio network node for multimedia broadcast service are disclosed. The radio network node sends, on a physical downlink control channel of the carrier, downlink control information using a multicast network identifier. The downlink control information includes a bit indicating whether or not at least two emergency notifications are broadcast on the carrier, and a notification relating to a change of a multicast channel of the carrier. The user equipment receives, on a physical downlink control channel of the carrier, downlink control information using a multicast network identifier. The user equipment behaves as if at least two fields relating to indication of said at least two emergency notifications are set to one in a paging message for the user equipment, when the information satisfies a condition.
