A controller for controlling lighting in a facility provided by a plurality of lighting fixtures configured for wireless communications, the controller includes a data communication interface and a control module. The data communications interface communicates with at least one of the plurality of lighting fixtures. The control module is configured to provide a control signal to the data communications interface for communicating to the at least one of the plurality of lighting fixtures and for at least one of turning on and turning off the plurality of lighting fixtures according to an algorithm that generates the control signal based on a time of day and an occupancy within the facility. The control module is also configured to determine the occupancy within the facility based on a sensed condition relating to motion within the facility and a level of heat within the facility.
LED tube lamp
An LED tube lamp is provided herein, which implements the safety function for protecting the user from electric shock since it conducts only when both ends thereof have been correctly installed into a lamp socket. The LED tube lamp includes an installation detection module configured in the LED tube lamp to detect an installation state between the LED tube lamp and the lamp socket. The installation detection module includes: a detection pulse generating module, configured to generate a first pulse signal; a detection result latching circuit, configured to receive and output the first pulse signal; a switch circuit, configured to receive the first pulse signal from the detection result latching circuit, and configured to maintain a conductive state of the switch circuit during the first pulse to cause a power loop of the LED tube lamp to be conductive; and a detection determining circuit, configured to detect a first sampling signal on the power loop so as to determine the installation state between the LED tube lamp and the lamp socket.
Ostomy patient care system and method
Systems and methods of providing post-operative ostomy patient care can include software and/or hardware that facilitates patient care personnel, such as a patient coach, providing remote patient care or coaching over a network to an ostomy patient. The care may be provided by specially trained former patients, nurses, or other care providers. The system can integrate sensor data from an ostomy device and inputs from the former patients, healthcare professionals, and/or device manufacturer in provide the post-operative care.
Color tunable light source module with brightness control
LED-based light source modules can incorporate color tunability and brightness control, allowing a user to select a desired color temperature and/or brightness and to change either or both dynamically. An emitter can include multiple independently addressable groups of LEDs, each emitting light of a different color. By controlling the relative operating current provided to each group, a desired color temperature can be achieved, and by controlling the absolute operating currents, the brightness of the output light can be controlled. Pulse width modulation (PWM) can be used to control the relative and absolute operating currents. Smooth, gradual transitions between brightness and/or color temperature settings in response to changes can be provided.
