SCREENING APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus for screening, treatment, monitoring and/or assessment of visual impairments, comprising electronic means for simultaneously applying two separate and unrelated processing methods to images presented to a patient's eyes; a first processing method being applied to an non-amblyopic eye (the eye with the better vision), and a second processing method being applied to an amblyopic eye (the weaker eye, or the impaired eye). A method for screening, treatment, monitoring and/or assessment of visual impairments, comprising: a. defining a starting point, wherein differences between a patient's eyes are completely, or as closely as practically possible, corrected, to enable two identical or similar images to be transferred to the brain from the patient's eyes; b. defining an ending point, wherein there is no correction applied to any of the patient's eyes; c. defining a screening, treatment, monitoring and/or assessment plan, for initially applying correction to images according to the starting point, then gradually reducing the correction, at a controlled and predetermined rate, towards the ending point; and d. applying the plan to images presented to the patient's eyes, while monitoring patient's performance.

PROJECTION OF DEFOCUSED IMAGES ON THE PERIPHERAL RETINA TO TREAT REFRACTIVE ERROR
An apparatus to treat refractive error of the eye comprises one or more optics configured to project stimuli comprising out of focus images onto the peripheral retina outside the macula. While the stimuli can be configured in many ways, in some embodiments the stimuli are arranged to decrease interference with central vison such as macular vision. The stimuli can be out of focus images may comprise an amount of defocus within a range from about 3 Diopters (“D”) to about 6 D. In some embodiments, the brightness of the stimuli is greater than a brightness of background illumination by an appropriate amount such as at least 3 times the background brightness. In some embodiments, each of a plurality of stimuli comprises a spatial frequency distribution with an amplitude profile having spatial frequencies within a range from about range of 1×10.sup.−1 to 2.5×10.sup.1 cycles per degree.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CUSTOMIZING WAGER-RELATED INFORMATION FOR PRESENTATION TO A USER
A method and system are configured to generate user-specific information, such as wager-related information, for display on one or more display devices of a user. The system is configured to use factors, such as user preferences, user activity information, user location, user group information and/or a configuration of the user's display device(s), to generate, from a set of wager-related information such as a set of available bets, the user-specific information, such as a specific sub-set of the information or bets.
Method and device for treating vision impairment
Disclosed is a wearable optical devices for a human subject, comprising: a transparent lens; a wearable frame configured to maintain the lens in front of an eye of a human subject; a transparent pixelated active optical element where the pixels of the active optical element have an optical property with a changeable value; an eye tracker; and a controller configured to set a value for an optical property of the pixels of the active optical element so as to create an image mask through which at least some of the light reaching the eye passes through, thereby modifying the image formed on the retina of the first eye.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE INCLUDING PATTERNED BALLS FOR TRAINING
A system of patterned balls configured for use in therapies, the system including a computing device configured to receive a user input associated with a first user condition, correlate the first user condition to a first pattern, select a first ball that includes the first pattern correlated to the first user condition, and present the first ball to the user. A first ball, including a first pattern comprising the first color and the second color disposed on the first ball, a first axis of rotation, a second ball, including a second pattern comprising the third color and the fourth color disposed on the second ball, a second axis of rotation, a suspension assembly configured to suspend the first ball and the second ball in orientations, and a rotation apparatus configured to rotate at least the first and second ball. A method for therapies is also disclosed.

The body-axis indicator has a longitudinal direction, and is supported such that the longitudinal direction can be disposed along a craniocaudal axis of the user. The body-axis indicator is a rod member supported so as to be disposed along a craniocaudal axis of the user. The body-axis indicator includes a proximal-side indicator provided in front of a face of the user, and a distal-side indicator provided farther from the user than the proximal-side indicator. The proximal-side indicator is configured to be capable of adjusting a distance from the user.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR NEURAL STIMULATION VIA MUSIC AND SYNCHRONIZED RHYTHMIC STIMULATION
Systems and methods for treating cognitive dysfunction are disclosed. The system can include a sound source, a light source, an input device, and a neural stimulation system that retrieves or selects a stimulation profile. The stimulation profile can include one or more musical pieces for playback and one or more rhythmic stimulation patterns having variable parameters, and time-varying signal properties that can be tuned to music. The system can select the signal properties of rhythmic stimulation based on analysis of the music, measure the physiological condition of the subject, and further adjust the rhythmic stimulation based on neural responses. The neural stimulation system can play back the selected musical pieces to direct sound toward the ear, or respond to ambient musical sounds detected by a microphone, and set the values of the variable parameters and properties of the rhythmic pattern, construct an output signal, and provide an output signal.
