Display devices and methods are disclosed. In one example, a display device includes display elements arranged in a two-dimensional matrix, data lines for respective display element columns, and a source driver that supplies a video signal voltage to the data lines. In the data lines, display element row includes display elements belonging to first and second groups different from each other. The source driver generates a ramp signal and includes a switch circuit that causes a data line to hold a video signal voltage. When output of the ramp signal and a data line are switched from a connected state to a disconnected state in order to cause the data line corresponding to a certain display element to hold a video signal voltage, a data line corresponding to a display element belonging to a different group and the ramp signal are switched from the disconnected state to the connected state.

According to the present invention, provided are an optical laminate which has excellent adhesiveness between two optically anisotropic layers, and in which an A plate or a layer obtained by fixing a twist-aligned liquid crystal phase, which is as an optically anisotropic layer, has excellent liquid crystal alignment properties, a polarizing plate, and an image display device. An optical laminate of the present invention has: a first optically anisotropic layer formed of a first liquid crystal compound; a second optically anisotropic layer formed of a second liquid crystal compound; and a mixed layer which is disposed between the first optically anisotropic layer and the second optically anisotropic layer and contains a component derived from the first liquid crystal compound and a component derived from the second liquid crystal compound, the first optically anisotropic layer is a C plate, the second optically anisotropic layer is an A plate or a layer obtained by fixing a twist-aligned liquid crystal phase, the mixed layer further contains a photo-alignment compound, and in an analysis of components of the optical laminate in a depth direction by time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry with ion beam irradiation from a surface of the optical laminate on a first optically anisotropic layer side toward a second optically anisotropic layer side, predetermined requirements are satisfied.

At least one of the first or second wiring conductor includes a planar conductive portion covering the first surface. The planar conductive portion includes connectors connected to the power supply voltage feeder on at least two sides of the substrate.

Display apparatus and electronic device

A display apparatus capable of improving image quality is provided. In the display apparatus, an adder circuit is provided inside and outside a display region, and the adder circuit has a function of adding a plurality of pieces of data supplied from a source driver. Some components of the adder circuit are separately arranged in a pixel region. Thus, limitation on the size of a component included in the adder circuit can be eased, and data addition can be performed efficiently. In addition, by providing the other components included in the adder circuit outside the display region, the number of wirings in the display region can be reduced and the aperture ratio of the pixel can be increased.
