ENHANCED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FULLY AUTOMATED REVERSE LOGISTICS PLATFORM
Disclosed are systems, methods, and computer-readable media for inspecting mobile devices. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising executing a de-trash operation on a mobile device, the de-trash operation resulting in the removal of extraneous material attached to the mobile device; categorizing an operating system of the mobile device; connecting the mobile device to a reading device and installing one or more software applications on the mobile device, the one or more software application operable to read one or more identifiers from the mobile device; visually inspecting the mobile device and classifying the physical condition of the mobile device; performing a functional test on the mobile device upon determining that the physical condition of the mobile device is free of defects; and removing all test data from the mobile device after performing the functional test and flashing the mobile device with a new operating system image.
INCENTIVE-BASED WASTE REDUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
An incentive-based waste reduction system and method thereof are disclosed herein. In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, an incentive-based waste reduction system comprises a collection means comprising at least a load-determining device, the collection means for obtaining a quantifiable measure of waste material from an entity, a value associated with the quantifiable measure of waste material, an adjustment factor for adjusting the value associated with the quantifiable measure of waste material, determined from an algorithm, the algorithm taking as an input at least a predetermined factor, a credit value associated with at least a quantifiable measure of deposited waste material, and a reward value associated with the credit value. Information about the waste material is transmitted to a host server which performs actions based on the received information, including reconfiguring a deployment scheme of trucks to routes to save resources.
DISTRIBUTED DATABASE STRUCTURES FOR ANONYMOUS INFORMATION EXCHANGE
Provided herein are database structures, systems, and methods for an anonymous, information exchange platform. The information exchange platform described herein may comprise blockchain structures, decentralized networks, peer-to-peer technology, cryptographic techniques, and/or a combination thereof. Past and present actors associated with a topic of information (e.g., a product) may flexibly exchange information on the information exchange platform by implementing question and answer protocols.
RESOURCE RECOVERY SYSTEM, SERVER APPARATUS, RESOURCE RECOVERY APPARATUS, AND METHOD
A resource recovery system for recovering articles to be recycled as a resource includes a plurality of resource recovery apparatuses that recovers the discarded articles by a person discarding waste and a server apparatus that manages the plurality of resource recovery apparatuses. The server apparatus generates suggestion information including information indicating a suggestion for a location of a target resource recovery apparatus, based on a utilization result and a location of each of the plurality of resource recovery apparatuses. The target resource recovery apparatus is the resource recovery apparatus to be newly placed and/or the resource recovery apparatus that has been located and of which location is to be changed.
MEDICATION RETURN PLATFORM FOR EXTRACTING VALUE FROM UNUSED MEDICATIONS
Described herein is a medication return platform for managing returns of unused medications. In various embodiments, the medication return platform authorizes shipments of unused medications to manufacturers for disposal. The medication return platform may also provide a rebate for the returned medication to health insurance companies, employers, and other purchasers of medication. To facilitate the return process, the medication return platform may provide de minimis gifts to patients in exchange for their unused medications.
AUTOMATED INTELLIGENT BIN COLLECTION SERVICE USING AUTONOMOUS MOBILE BINS
Automatically collecting bin content by receiving input data comprising geographic information, a set of constraints, a first set of status parameters corresponding to each of a plurality of service vehicles, and a second set of status parameters corresponding to each of a plurality of autonomous mobile bins. The input data is used to compute a first set of schedules for each of the plurality of service vehicles and a second set of schedules for each of the plurality of autonomous mobile bins. The first set of schedules and the second set of schedules together specify at least one meeting point at a meeting time between a service vehicle of the plurality of service vehicles and at least one bin of the plurality of autonomous mobile bins.
Automated repository for recyclable containers and method for unmanned operation thereof
A system for depositing of recyclable articles includes an internally-compartmented structure. The compartments are accessed through hatches which are selectively closed with covers. The system includes a user-operated kiosk which controls operation of the covers in response to user information and the degree to which the compartments are filled with recyclable articles. The kiosk includes a display for directing the user to deposit the articles into specific compartments and a user interface for entry and display of user-specific information.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES AND DEVICES FOR FACILITATING PROCESSING OF RECYCLABLE ITEMS
A system to facilitate processing of recyclable items is disclosed. Further, the system may include a communication device configured for receiving event data associated with a recycling process from at least one sensory device, receiving a request for the event data from a first user device, and transmitting the event data to the first user device. Further, the system may include a processing device communicatively coupled to the communication device, configured for issuing a predetermined amount of crypto tokens to a second crypto account. Further, the system may include a storage device communicatively coupled to the processing device, configured for storing, using a distributed ledger technology, the event data, and data related to the issuing of the predetermined amount of crypto tokens to the second crypto account.
Plastic waste system and method
The present application overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art by providing a system for proper life-cycle management of plastic products and the plastic waste that plastic products produce.
OPTICAL SENSING-BASED INVENTORY CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An inventory tracking system includes storage modules that hold one or more items. Each item is positionable at locations within the storage modules independent of physical characteristics of the item. Inventory monitoring modules are included to monitor storage modules for adding an item, retrieving an item, consuming of the item, returning an unused item, discarding at least a portion of a consumed item, or combinations thereof. Each act is used to determine information about items utilized in the act, including the location within the storage modules of the items. Each storage module updates a central inventory database about a location of the storage module, a revised inventory of the items stored within the storage modules, or both. The location of the storage modules, the revised inventory of the items stored within the storage modules, or both, is used to order a replenishment of the items held within the storage modules.
